Jack's POV

I practicly bolt out of the classroom as the bell rings. I speed walk down the hall and Minx joins me.

"Jesus Jack, slow down!" She yells.

I chuckle.

"Nope!" I screamed back as I sprinted to my jeep.

I got in the drivers seat, Minx in the passenger seat and sped to Mark's apartment. We got there in a few minutes and I parked the car in his driveway. I got out of the car and walked to the front door. Minx following. I opened the door and immediately heard crying. I ran to were I heard it and need up in the living room. Mark was curled into a ball and a crying mess. I scooped him up into my arms and tried to calm him down. Minx watched sadly as I shushed him.

"Mark! Mark baby its ok, its ok. I'm here. I'm here!" I whispered as I rocked us back and forth.

It took a while but Mark finally calmed. He buried his face into my chest as he sat on my lap.

"Mark, Minx is here.." I smiled down at him.

He looked up at me, then to Minx. He waved to her, then buried his face back into my chest. Minx frowned.

"No talking Markimoo?" She asked.

Mark tensed and nodded.

"Ok..." She sighed.

I looked over at her and nodded.

"Well Mark did you have a dream??" I asked quietly.

He hesitantly nodded his head 'yes'.

"Its ok baby. Its ok...." I whispered to him as he started to softly cry.

Month Later...

I dtoved down the street to the school, with Mark in the passenger seat. Still haven't gotten him to talk, but his nightmares started to die down. He stared blankly out the window. I parked the car and sighed, resting my hand atop him. He looked over at me and smiled. That smile....its so fake...

"Mark you dont have to if you dont want to." I said.

He frowned and took his he and from mine, using it to open the door. He got out and slammed the door shut and walked into the school. I sighed and sat my face in my hands. Mark isn't the same anymore. He isn't the happy, lovingly, and daring boy I fell in love with. He's sad, quiet, and hesitant about everything. He just isn't the same....

He's not the one I fell in love with anymore.....
