Hi, I'm Rose Bush, I'm 15 and I live in Florida with my 5 older brothers.
My parents died when I was 11, and my oldest brother Andy has been taking care of us ever since.
They were really rich and owned a tech company Bush Industries, and after they died in a car accident, Andy inherited it.
So tomorrow is the first day of the school year, I'm gonna be a sophomore, yay *i hope you recognized my sarcasm*
So here goes,
Rose's pov:
I woke up to my blaring alarm clock that I put on snooze about ten times.
"Ugh," I groaned.
I stood up and saw my pajama pants were stained with red. Yep, my period. On the first day of school. Ugh.
I quickly jumped back under the covers as my twin Porter, bounded into the room.
"Hey!" Porter says as he jumps on my bed.
I cringe. "Hey yourself," I tell him quietly.
Porter immediately looks concerned.
"Hey, are you all right, you look a little pale," he asks me.
"Yeah, no, I'm fine, just a little under the weather." I say.
"I don't know what could be wrong, maybe it's OH!" He exclaims.
"Your period?" He asks, whispering the word cautiously.
I nod.
"Okay, I'm gonna go, have fun with...all that," he gestures at me and blushes.
Porter is just about to leave my room when Josh and Holden burst into my room.
Porter blushes deeper as do I, my demon body always betrays me. Holden and Josh look between us and ask,
"What's happening?" Suspiciously.
"Um," I say.
Porter just walks away.
"Porter, where's the twin loyalty, don't leave me with these bozos!"
I hear his feet pad down the hall.
"So what's going on, little sis?" Josh asks me.
"You got to get ready for school, what are you doing in bed still?" Holden pull the covers off my legs, revealing my stained sheets and white pajama bottoms.
Josh hisses and jumps back, Holden just stands there, still holding the covers in his hands.
"Um, this is awkward, um, so, um," I stutter out, still sitting there.
Of course my best friend Jackson, to come in the door.
He walked in saying, "Hey, what's up Ro!"
He assessed the scene, as neither of the boys had moved from their original spot.
He started to laugh and helped me off the bed, saying, "Ro, go clean up, I'll deal with these idiots,"
And with that, I fled out of my room to the bathroom.Jackson's pov:
I walk in to my best friends room only to find her brothers staring at her in shock, Josh leaning up against her desk, and Holden holding her comforter in shock.
She was sitting on the bed with stained pajama bottoms, I quickly realized what had happened and started to laugh.
Rose blushed as I told her to go clean up. She ran to the bathroom.
"Whaaa," starts Josh.
"Geez, guys, didn't you ever go to health class? It's just her peri-" I'm cut off when Holden and Jack both hiss.
"Don't say that word!" They shriek in unison.
I decide to have a little fun with them. "What word, period?"
"That one!" They yell.
"Boys, listen," I say as I start taking the sheets off of Rose's bed.
"You have to accept that Rose is a woman, and you're gonna have to kind of tiptoe around this type of subject with her, trust me, I know, I have four older sisters, I'm still getting over the tampon incident of 2011." I tell them.
"Okay, well, I'm gonna go eat breakfast, not that I have an appetite now anyway," Josh says as he walks out of the room.
"Same," adds Holden, following his brother.
I follow them downstairs to wait for Ro, after dropping off the sheets in the laundry room.Rose's pov:
I run to the bathroom, super embarrassed, but at least only 2 of my brothers were there to witness the blood bath, so that's good, I guess. I turn the shower on only to find there's no hot water. Dang it.
After I shower, I look for some tampons under the bathroom cabinet, but I can't find any.
I'm gonna have to ask one of my brothers. Oh gosh.
I hear footsteps coming near the bathroom and start to yell,
"Hey, who's out there?" I shout.
"Its Blake, what do you need Ro?" He asks me.
"Um, I need, some, tampons," I whisper the last word.
"Oh. OH!" Blake yells.
"Um, okay, uhhhhhhh, how bad do you really need them?" He asks me.
"I have blood coming out of my freaking v-" I start to yell when Blake cuts me off.
"Don't say that! Fine I'll get your darn tampons, keep your clothes on!" He yells.
"You don't have to shout, and thank you," I tell him.
I'm just gonna sit tight on the toilet for now, I think to myself.Blake's pov:
She wants me to get her tampons.
It's times like these when I really miss mom.
I go down the stairs, hoping to pass this wonderful deed down to one of my younger brothers.
"How's Rose?" Porter asks.
"She's fine, hey, do you want to be an awesome twin brother?" I ask him, hoping for him to fall into my trap.
"This doesn't have anything to do with her little problem this morning, does it?" Porter asks me.
Dang it. He knows. Abort the mission. I repeat, abort the mission!
I take him over to the side. "She needs tampons, and I really don't want to do that, so you want to do that for me?"
"Let me think, uh, no." He tells me.
"Please, I'll pay you," I plead.
"Sorry, bro, it's not happening." Porter so bluntly tells me.
Looks like I'm gonna have to handle this on my own. I can do this, I am a man, I can so totally do this.
I can't do this.
"Alright, will somebody please go get Rose tampons because I'm sure as heck not doing it!" I yell.
There's now an awkward silence filling our kitchen. I've never seen it so quiet.
"I got it," says Jackson.
"Bless you," I say.
"Yeah," he says.
Jackson starts walking upstairs.
"Hey, the doors that way!" I yell at him.
" I know but I have to ask some questions about her supplies," he tells me sheepishly.
Okay.....
He comes down a few minutes later, a fresh blush clouding his cheeks.
"See ya in a few," he tells us as he heads out the door, our mouths agape and eyes wide at this surprisingly calm boy.To be continued....
Please review and tell me if you really would like it to be continued, bye lovelies!
