Derek

She is so friendly. I hate how larger people take advantage of smaller people.

"Did he hurt you?" I asked while she strolled next to me.

"No, you got there just in time." She lied but I didn't pursue it.

"What's your name?" I asked trying to make conversation.

"Ivy." She said.

"Who are these bad people after you?"

"Before my mother died, she pissed off a lot of people?"

"I left my father to protect him, and Zach... and Dick." She started crying when she said Dick.

"Maybe you should go back I'm sure you are over reacting."

"I have been attacked three times and kidnapped twice, my friends were attacked and I was possessed and my mother was killed!" she was shouting. I tried to put my hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" she screamed.

"Leave her alone." The dark night said and he jumped down from a building next to us. I eddied away from them.

"I was only trying to help!" I said with my hands up.

"Scum like you only want to help themselves."

"for your information, I actually saved her from getting RAPED!" I shouted. He looked at Ivy and she nodded.

"I'm sorry then, I shouldn't have assumed." He said.

"It's okay. It didn't sound too good unless you were there for the whole thing." I said.

"Let me take her home." He said in quite a harsher voice looking at Ivy.

"Ivy tell Batman what you told me because he can help." I said

"I'm being hunted." I said.

"No, what happened to you before I helped you." I said in a way to prove my innocence and I was curious.

"A man pulled me into an alley and he held me up against a wall and he put his hand over mine so I couldn't move or resist then he put his hand up my... shirt and... please don't make me say the rest." She sobbed the last part as she fell to her knees. I wanted to run to her and help but Batman stepped in front of her in a protective way. He didn't trust me.

"Let's take you home." He said as he put a hand on her shoulder and she flinched away from his touch. She then nodded and stood up on her feet and walked to the Bat-mobile.

"Thank you..." he said stopping abruptly.

"Derek." I said.

"Thank you, Derek." He said.

She got in the Bat-mobile and I felt sorry for her. She was crying and she had been abused. I went off as soon as the Bat-mobile went.

Bruce

I found her and got her in the Bat-mobile. Why couldn't I save her. She was so vulnerable and I couldn't help. She was hurt while I was dilly dallying looking for her. If she hadn't have shouted I might not have found her.

"Are you okay?" I asked. She just shook her head and put her knees up and tucked her head into her knees.

"Bat-mobile, auto pilot." I leant back and put my hand on her leg. She flinched then shivered. She was only in a dress and must have been cold. I went back to her and sat next to her.

"Please don't tell Dick." She said.

"I have to." I admitted.

"No, he will hate me for almost going with another guy." She said.

"No, don't even try to blame yourself. He will understand and won't ever hate you. What if he comes near you and tries to hug you and you flinch away, he may think you don't love him." I explained.

"Please don't make me tell him." She said. she shivered again.

"I won't and you don't have to be there when I tell him if you want." I said while hugging her.

"No, I want to know what he says." She said.

"Bat cave." The car called out and we got out.

"Did you find her?" Zach said while running at the car.

"I have no updates on her trackers." Dick said while typing on the computer.

"I have her." I said and they both came running. Dick tried to hug her but I didn't want him going through thinking she hates him so I pulled her behind me.

"I have something I need to tell you." She said.

"What?" they both said.

"you sure Ivy?" I asked.

"Yes, when I ran away I went through some streets then a man pulled me into an alley and he held me up against a wall and he put his hand over mine so I couldn't move or resist then he put his hand up my... shirt and... please don't hate me." She said. Dick walked over to her and held his arms up. She ran into his arms.

"Never." He said.

"Can I go to bed?" she asked.

"I'll take her." Dick said and they went off holding hands.

"Oh god. Why does she have to go through so much? She's thirteen for Christ sakes!" Zach was screaming.

"Zach calm down." I said trying not to alert the others.

"No, she is a girl who has never hurt anyone yet she is going through all this crap!" he shouted and a vine wrapped around his arm but he snapped it off.

"And where were you? You could have saved her but no! you only care about yourself and left us with all the people you pissed off! Now look what has happened because of you!" he stormed off upstairs and Alfred followed.

"What has my family become?" I said while walking off.
