Chapter 3

Brit's pov

I woke up the next morning to someone playing with my hair. I looked up to see Matt looking down smiling at me.

I immediately remember that I slept with my makeup on and I probably look like a monster so I hide my face with my hands.

"What's wrong?" Matt asks while giggling.

"I slept with makeup on so I probably look like a monster and I don't want you to see me!" I say.

"Well this is weird but I've been watching you sleep for 10 minutes and I think you look absolutely gorgeous," he says.

My face heats up and I hide my face again. Then Matt grabs my hands.

"Don't hide your face! I think it's adorable when you blush," he says making me blush harder.

"Stop you're going to make all the blood rush to my face and kill me!" I shout back and burst out laughing.

"Ok well go get dressed in something fancy and meet me here at 12. I wanna take you to lunch," Matt says.

"Ok! Where are we going?" I ask.

"Now that's a surprise! Go get ready it's 10 now!" he says.

I reply with ok and go to my room to see Mahogany and Aaliyah playing xbox.

"Hey y'all! Mahogany, can you help me get ready? I like your style and I need help!" I ask.

"Yea sure! What are you getting ready for?" she asks.

"Matt is taking me out for lunch," I say.

"Oh ok well if it a fancy or casual lunch?" She asks.

"He said dress fancy," I say.

"Ok well you go take a shower and when you get out I'll help you with hair and makeup and I'll have your outfit laying on your bed," mahogany says.

I nod and head to the shower. After 30 minutes I get out and wrap my body and hair In a towel and walk to the kitchen.

"Go put on some shorts and a t shirt so we can do your hair," mahogany says.

I nod and go throw on some spandex and a camo chevron shirt. (I have one and it's adorable) then I go to the kitchen.

"Ok let me work my magic! And you can't see until I'm done!" she says.

After an hour of mahogany doing my hair and makeup she tells me to get dressed and I can't see until I'm dressed.

I go to my room and see a gorgeous long sleeve pale pink peplum dress with a see-through back, a pale pink lace bandeau to wear under it, and black wedges.

I slide the dress and shoes on and walk to the kitchen and Mahogany gasps.

"What?" I ask nervously.

"You look gorgeous! The dress is perfect for you figure and skin tone and the shoes make your legs look great!" she says, "now, go look in the mirror."

I walk to the full-length mirror in the living room and gasp. I'm not trying to brag but I look great. She was right about my figure and legs. Also she did an amazing job on my makeup and hair.

She curled my hair and pinned it half up-half down. And my makeup is a gorgeous smokey eye that goes with my piercing blue eyes perfectly.

"Omg mahogany the outfit is perfect and my hair and makeup looks great! thank you so much!" I say while hugging her.

"It was no problem I had fun!" she says.

It's 11:55 so I head over to Matt's room and knock on the door.

"I'm leaving! By- whoa you look gorgeous," Matt says while looking at me in awe.

"Well thank you! You look great yourself!" I says. He was wearing a pale blue button down shirt, a dark blue tie, dress pants and dress shoes. I guess this really is a fancy lunch!

"Thanks! Ok are you ready?" he asks.

I nod and he grabs my hand as we walk to the limo.

The whole way there we sit in comfortable silence with my hand in his and my head on his shoulder.

When we get there, my jaw drops.

"Matt! This restaurant is so expensive!" I say.

"It may be expensive but it's worth it. The food is amazing and I'm here with the perfect girl," he says.

We go in and order our food and eat then order dessert.

As soon as I bite into my cheesecake I bite something hard. A ring. Whut.

"Brit, I know what you're thinking, why is there a ring in my cheesecake. Well it's a promise ring. I know it's corny but Brittany Nicole Newman, will you be my girlfriend?" Matt asks.

I shout 'yes' and kiss him. Then we go back to the hotel. I go change then go back to Matt's room.

"Hey Brit! The guys are at a water park 5 blocks away, do you, Mahogany, and Aaliyah wanna go?" Matt asks.

"Yea sure! Let me go put on a bathing suit and we'll meet you here." I say.

I go invite the girls and we get dressed. I put on a strapless American flag bikini, put on sunscreen and grab my penny board and sunglasses. Then we head out.

Mahogany and Aaliyah and skating in front of us and Matt and I are behind them.

For some reason I feel like we're being followed but I shake it off. After skating 3 blocks Matt leans over and kisses me.

5 minutes later my phone blows up with twitter notifications. I check it and I see a picture of Matt and me kissing.

"Well I guess we should tell them!" Matt says.

I agree and we send out tweets.

Matt's : hey guys! I just wanted to say that @britbritnewman and I are dating! please don't hate on her. Please respect us thanks!

Brit's : hey guys! @themattespinosa and I are dating. Please respect us we're very happy together!

As soon as we get there we head strait to to water. Mahogany and Aaliyah go to the lazy river and Matt and I go to the biggest water slide.

After 2 hours I go check my phone and the word is out. Literally everyone knows we're dating. Yes I'm getting hate but I just ignore it.

After checking my phone I go slide down the water slide. When I get to the bottom I kind of wade to the pool area.

All of a sudden someone says my name and I turn around.

All I here is "Matt is mine bitch" then a girl pounces on me and pushes me under.

She holds me under water then I start to loose consciousness just as I hear the guys scream my name. Then I sink to the bottom of the pool and everything goes black.
