Ruby rose pov

Jaune, Nathen, and I walked into a big auditorium filled with a bunch of different kids talking in groups. "RUBY OVER HERE I SAVED YOU A SPOT!" I looked over to see my sister yang waving us over.

"Bye jaune I'll see you later." I said to him then started walking over to Yang. Some kids were staring behind me at something and parted way. I was confused until I turned around to see Nathen following me. "Uh what are you doing?" I asked. Nathen looked down.

"I have no friends here." He muttered. I smiled.

"Well now you do come on." I then continued to make my way over to Yang.

"How's your first day going little sister?" She asked smiling at me.

"You mean since you ditched her and then she exploded?" Nathen asked for me.

"Yikes meltdown already?" She questioned.

"No I mean literally exploded." I answered. I tripped over some girls luggage and then she yelled at me. Then I sneezed making an explosion and then she continued yelling and u just wanted her to stop." I rant.

"YOU!" I jump into Yangs arms.

"God it's happening again!" I cried and saw that girl from before.

"You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff." I heard a deep sigh.

"Weiss," I heard Nathen warn, "I'm going to give you the 10 ten seconds to leave. If you're not gone I will not be held responsible."

"Oh my god you really exploded." Yang muttered and I jumped put of her arms.

"It was an accident!" I say only to have a pamphlet shoved in my face by Weiss.

"If you really want to make it up toe then read this." She said. "I will not be held accountable for someone's misuse of my families property."

"Look it sounds like you 2 got off on the wrong foot." Yang tried defusing the situation. "Why don't you stare over and try to be friends okay?"

"That's a great idea sis!" I turn and hold put my hand to her. "Hello I'm Ruby Rose, wanna hang out? We can go shopping for school supplies."

"Yeah and we can paint our nails, try on clothes and take about cute boys like him." She pointed over her shoulder at jaune.

"Wow really?" I asked happy.

We waited a few seconds before. "No."

No ones pov

The auditorium was then filled by someone clearing there throat over the speakers. Everyone turned to see the headmaster. "I'll keep this brief." Ozpin said taking a drink. He looked into his mug and saw nothing. "One second I'll be right back." He said then left the stage walking over to a coffee machine. He then started brewing a new pot of coffee. Everyone was staring at him. Even Glynda. After about 5 minutes he went back on stage with his cup of coffee. "As I said, I'll keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge. To hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you finish you plan to dedicate your life to the people. But I look among you and see wasted, in need of purpose, direction, you assume knowledge will free you of this. But your time at the school will prove how far knowledge will take you. It is up to you to take the first step." He then walked off stage and Glynda took the microphone.

"You will gather in the ball room tonight. Your initiation will began tomorrow. Be ready. You're dismissed.

Ruby pov.

"He seemed kinda off." Yang said receiving a nod from Nathen. "It's almost like he wasn't even there."

"I'm a natural blonde you know." We sighed collectively.

Timeskip

Nathen pov.

I walked into the ballroom wearing only shorts getting lots of whistles from the girls. When I was growing fast up with my father and mother they taught me how to fight, a lot, everyday I was told to do a different exercise to tone my muscles. I smiled when I heard the whistles. One was particularly loud. I look to my left and see a blonde girl in a grey tank top and and white pj pants. She then looked down embarrassed. I smiled and walked over to her. "Guten Tag." I said smiling.

"Hi." She said nervously. "I'm Angela Ziglier the second." She held out her hand. I shook it happily. "My mom is Angela Zeigler." When she said that I realized she looked excatly like her mother. Even sounded the same.

"I'm Nathen Wilhelm. I've actually met your mom. She's a wonderful woman." I smiled. She looked surprised.

"Is your dad Reinhardt?" I nodded. "Oh my gosh." I chuckled. "Wow looks like you inherited your father's armor. I inherited my moms." She looked down a bit embarrassed. "For some reason it fits me excatly." I smiled then the lights went out immediately causing Angela to scream and jump in my arms. "Sorry that startled me."

"It's fine. Let's just lay down." I said then got embarrassed. "By lay down I mean in our own bed rolls." I said quickly.

She giggled. "Okay see you in the morning." I then heard her footsteps leaving. I put my hand against the wall and found my way to a solitary corner. I laid out my bed roll and went to bed.

"I'll call dad in the morning." I said falling asleep.
