The little dragon girl sat hiding in the corner of the the cage the strange man had placed her in after finding her wandering the woods. She remembered that she had been out for a stroll, more or less, trying to get as far away as she could from the place she once called home. Cassie, who had been wandering for days after running away saw a strange figure appear in the distance. she couldn't tell who or what it was, she just knew she had to get as far from it as possible. Cassie, turning to flee, ran into a tree because she did not look to see where she was going. in a flash, she fell to the ground, and before the world faded to black she had seen the man's feet.

The man, who she assumed had put her into the cage, now came up to her. she could see that he was very pale, wearing glasses, with blond hair, a white lab coat, almost black jeans but still blue, and regular old black boots. He would just look over at Cassie every now and then, writing things down on a notepad he held in his hands. As he did this, Cassie sat shivering in fear. She did not know what this man wanted of her, but after waking up in the end with wings, a tail, and purple glowing eyes, she knew that anyone she saw from that day on would either try to kill her, experiment on her, or lock her up forever, even her parents. Eventually the strange man turned around to yell something. "JACKSON! I REQUIRE YOUR ASSISTANCE NOW!"

At the man's call, a young man, looking to be about 18, came  like a dog does when its owner beckons. "sir? what is it that you need of me?"

From where she sat, Cassie could tell that the younger man had dark brown hair, deep blue eyes, and was tanner than the man in the lab coat. He wore dark blue jeans, black and gray shoes, black bracelets, and a white T-shirt with a large black collar and black sleeve ends. When he spoke, his voice did not rumble as many other men she had met. He spoke in only a mere whisper, quieter than a mouse.

"Jackson, go prepare the tools. I require the room to be set and ready for the extraction process."

    "yes sir"

The man, called Jackson, began to scurry down the dimly lit hall, until he reached a room with no lights what so ever inside. He opened the door, making it creak as he did so. Before entering the room, he pulled out a glowstone block, and placed it in the middle of the room from where he stood. then, he took his first steps into the room, slamming the door shut behind him. Cassie could only wonder what he was sent to do, and if it had anything to do with her.

"i can see that you are scared," the doctor began speaking to Cassie, "well, don't be. i can tell by the way you just sit there, staring, that you don't like the way you are, or more so, what you are, rather than just being here."

Cassie's eyes shrunk in fear. she believed that she couldn't get any more scared, especially since this person could tell things about her which were true just by looking at her. But she was horribly wrong. The things that were to happen to her in the next few years would be more terrifying than anyone's worst nightmares, fore they would be real, and they would haunt her not only in sleep but more in the real world, nether to aether.
