I don't want anyone to know the truth about what was happening between Jay and me. Nathan would kill us, and we lied to him and betrayed him. As much as I love Nathan to death, I couldn't help but fall for Jay, and I love him as much as Nathan.

A few weeks later, we got the results of the paternity test. We find out who's Hunter's biological father, and I'm scared Nathan will hit me again if those results say Hunter is not his child.

I come alone to the doctor's office. Once they call my name, I stand up and walk through the door. The nurse leads me to a room with a doctor holding a piece of paper in his hands. He gives me a judgmental look but then hands over the paper.

I swallow a huge lump in my throat and look down at the paper. I see the results, and I couldn't believe it. I sigh and stand up, taking the document out to my car. I walk inside the house, quiet as could be, not saying a single word. I didn't notice everyone in the living room sitting down. They look over, and I can tell they are silently judging me. "Lucy, did you find out?"

"Y-yeah. I-I did." I sigh and walk into the center of the room, still clutching onto the paper that held the results.

My heartbeat increases significantly, my breathing becomes heavier, and my head feels light, so I stumble back and sit in the chair, far from everyone else. My hands are shaking badly, and I can hardly breathe. The feeling was getting more and worse by the second. My eyes roll to the back of my head then I collapse off the chair.

I came onto Lucy at the club four years ago. I never drugged her. I lied, and so did Max, about that part so Nathan wouldn't kill me. If he ever found out what Lucy and I were doing behind his back, he'd surely kill us. We haven't seen each other for four years, and we've been having an affair for almost two years.

"Y-yeah. I-I did." She slowly makes her way into the middle of the main room. She's holding onto a paper like it is her lifeline, and she isn't letting go of it.

She looks lightheaded still. She stumbles a few steps back and sits in the chair behind her. We can tell she isn't feeling too well and doesn't look like it either. As she leans to the side, we all run over and try to catch her before she hits the floor. I call the paramedics as fast as I can. We wait until we hear sirens. I open the door, let them in, and point to Lucy.

*****This isn't because of my nerves; I'm selfish, and I tried to end it all. Before starting my car earlier, I popped an entire bottle of pills and headed home. I can't tell them what happened unless the doctor tells them first.

That's when I'll have to face them and tell them everything. This was the most selfish thing I could've done, and I only did it because I didn't want to tell the guys the results.

The paramedics revive me and ensure I'm alright before leaving the house. I realize that I still have the paper, and none of them must have seen it yet.

"We never looked at the paper. We want you to tell all of us." I shake my head and look down, letting a couple of tears fall down my cheeks. I see the paper on my lap and hand it over to Nathan. His reaction matched mine; upset.

"What does it say, Nathan?"

"It says that-"
