Chapter 18

_ Arlina's pov_

Here I am sitting on the sofa, my babies playing at my feet when Orlando waltz into the room, a stupid smile on his face.

'' Arlina, I have found a way to make you forgive me!''

I sit there dumbstruck, before bursting into fits of giggles. The twins stared at me in wonder, their eyes wide and curious.

'' And do you think it will work?'' Scorn was sewn into my words.

'' Yes'' there was denying him with the tone of his voice but I was too strong for him.

'' It wont work, so dont try''

Adji, as we now call our baby girl crawled to her father slowly, as if being cautous. He bent over and scoped her up into his big arms. One wrong move and he'd crush her soft body. She cooed as she pulled on his over grown beard.

'' You should consider a shave '' I spat.

'' Ill shave before dinner'' he said, trying to pull his beard from her firm grip.

Ajay, as we now call our son, jealous that Adji had his daddy's attention, crawled with alarming speed to Orlando. Orlando picked him up and he cooed with happiness. Its been like this ever since they grew comfortable with Orlando. Mommy is only there to feed them and change them. Daddy is thier over grown toy.

Adji grabbed a hand full of Orlando's shirt to get his attention before pointing to the window.

'' You wanna go outside?'' he asked her. She cooed as a response, smiling and clapping eagerly.

''Ill see you at dinner my love '' he said as he strolled out of the room, carrying my life source in his arms, a smile as wide as the universe on his handsome face.

Ill admit Im still in love with Orlando. We are maes after all. But Im going to make him work to gain my trust again. So far Im happy too say hes halfway there. The baby's love him and he's doing his best to manage the village while trying to earn my trust and play with the twins. Sometimes I wish I didnt have to behave this way. Afterall, he was under a strong spell. But Im a witch and werewolf hybrd. I bruise easily. He has alot of work to do.

I could hear the twins screaming and being the over protective mother I am dashed out the door and into the backyard. Much to my relief they were playing in the sand box with their daddy and maybe got a bit excited. Leading to their screams of delight which I misunderstood as screams of terror.

Orlando was acting as a prop and they attempted to bury him in the sand. The twins were failing miserably as their father was a huge man. I made my way over to them. Sitting at the edge of the sand box I sighed.

''You alright my love?''

'' Yes'' I answered my husband with a tired voice. I glanced at my happy babies who crawled around in the sand with toothless smiles on thier faces.

'' Thank you ''

My head snapped over to Orlando.

'' Why are you thanking me?''

'' For a family '' He whispered before grabbing my waist. Then our lips colided.

The sparks gave birth to new feelings and emotions in my heart. All Orlando's sins were forgiven. I loved him unconditionally once again.

As our lips parted ways I stared into his eyes.

'' Im sorry for all Ive done Arlina...''

'' I forgive you '' I whispered.

'' I understand if you want to leave but please dont take the babies away...''

'' I forgive you '' I said a little louder.

'' I want you to give me a chance to prove to you that Im man enough to take care of our family....''

'' I forgive you baby ''

'' Ill make it up to you, I swear, please dont leave me...''

''ORLANDO!''

'' Yes?''

'' I forgive you '' I whispered.

He sat there, his eyes wide open, his lips parted. The twins looked at us, confusion evident in their young, chubby faces.

'' You...for...forgive..me?''

''Yes''

The air was suddenly knocked out of me. I was on the ground, Orlando over me. He captured my lips with his, sealing the deal. Love flowed off him in waves. Out of no where he stopped kissing me yelling. The twins were pulling his hair and beard, trying to get our attention.

'' Im gonna get a haircut and shave now '' Orlando cringed when Ajay pulled harder. Orlandro pulled the twins into his arms and then placed them in one arm. Then he used his free hand to help me up before wrapping it around my waist.

Ajay climbed onto me and I held him and Orlando held Adji. As a family we went inside the twins squealing when we walked through the kitchen.
