it's a little weird to say that jihyun followed dongmin to his apartment to see his art, but that's exactly what happened.

dongmin invited jihyun to his apartment, which was surprisingly close by, and she agreed.

so here they are, standing outside dongmin's front door as he unlocks it. "now just a warning, it's a little messy inside but that's to be expected with an artist i guess."

dongmin let out a nervous chuckle as he opened up his front door and turned on the lights.

he stepped inside and jihyun followed close behind.

dongmin was right about the mess, but it wasn't as bad as jihyun had thought.

posters, paint, paintbrushes, and loose scraps of paper were tossed around the room. sketch books stacked a mile high in a corner, and a trash bin filled with crumpled up papers.

paintings and drawing lined the walls, along with two twin bookcases packed with books, some of which jihyun recognized well.

"again, sorry for the mess."

"no it's fine," jihyun smiled, "it's a very  aesthetic sort of vibe here. i like it."

dongmin chuckles as he grabs a few of his sketch books, looking through them before picking another stack.

"besides, my room is much worse."

"organized chaos?" dongmin questions, not looking up from his book.

"pretty much." jihyun laughed.

dongmin smiled and shook his head.

jihyun had to admit, at first dongmin was just a pretty face but now?

everything dongmin did just made her heart flutter, but not in a love way.

dongmin puffing his cheek while he was thinking, his chuckles, the small stutter of embarrassment in his voice. it was all just so precious.

"oh! here,"

dongmin grabbed his book and brought it over to jihyun, "i drew this last week. it's not my best but i really like it."

jihyun looked at the drawing. it was of a woman in amazing detail, colored and all.

"woah...dongmin this is amazing! you're very talented."

jihyun was all heart eyes over the drawing.

"who is this? a girlfriend?"

dongmin smiles shyly, "no, i don't have a girlfriend...this is actually one of my cousins friends.

she found out i could draw and she wanted a portrait done, so that's that."

"ohh, well it's still amazing.." jihyun stared at the drawing for what seemed like hours, not even noticing dongmin's eyes watching her.

"i would like to draw you..." he finally spoke,

"if you'd let me."
