dongmin stared in awe as the girl moved with the music, completely ignoring her dance partner.

in his mind he painted the mental image of her moving, swaying her hips to match the beat of the music.

he examined the way her expression lay still but at the same time seemed to match the song. he noted the way she moved flawlessly and so smoothly to the rythym.

he cursed himself for not bringing his sketchbook but he was sure he'd never forget this moment.

as the music came to an end and the girl, out of breath and most likely exhausted, made her way to dongmin he swore he felt his heart stop.

"so?" she questioned, smiling, "what do you think?"

dongmin inhaled sharply, "it was uh- it- it was great. i like it."

jihyun laughed sweetly as she sat down next to dongmin. "speechless i see." she joked.

dongmin chuckled but in reality he knew jihyuns nonchalant joke was the truth. he really was speechless.

the girl who seems to dance so beautifully and perfect put him in such a trance he had no idea how to break free.

"well i'm gonna go get changed and head home." jihyuns voice broke dongmin from his thoughts.

"wait-" dongmin stood up and grabbed jihyuns wrist, "what's wrong?" jihyun asked, looking back at dongmin.

"h-have you eaten?" dongmin questioned softly, his embarrassment catching his face on fire.

"no, i haven't. i was just gonna eat some reheats when i got home. why?"

dongmin cleared his throat, "w-well i was uh, i was just gonna ask you if you wanted to go get something to eat.."

jihyun smiled, "yeah sure. just let me get changed."

dongmin eyes widened as he realized he hadn't let go of her wrist. "oh.." he mumbled as he let go.

jihyun giggled and grabbed her bag from the corner. "i won't be long." she said before exiting the room.

dongmin took a deep breath in and sighed, "god i'm so stupid." he mumbled to himself.

he looked to the door and shook his head, "there's no way she'd go out with someone like me..."

dongmin leaned his back against the wall and sighed once again.

"i'm just a loser."
