Do you remember the first fan fiction you ever read? It was probably pretty terrible.
The first one I ever read was on the J14 website and it was a Justin Bieber story. It was written so terribly. It went like this:
Justin: hey y/n. how was ur day?
You: fine.
It even had smut before it was popular, I guess you could say. I remember the girl was in eighth grade and I was thinking about how she knew all these "details" if you catch my drift. I was only fourteen when I thought I might need therapy.
I bet most of our standards for fan fictions have probably risen.
