Grunting on Set

We filmed some of the Pilot episode that day. Russ called Lilly "honey" a total of four times and made physical contact about 20 times and kissed me once. KISSED ME. I FELT HIS LIPS. It was a peck, kind of like your dad when you're really little. Barely touching each others lips. But still, a kiss.
The show was about 5 friends that all have love connections and drama going on but the thing that makes it special is that we are all under the Witness Protection Program. And every couple episodes we'll have new names and a new location. All our characters call each other by the same name still. The reason we're under the WPP hasn't been revealed yet.
I am Lillian, who is happily married to Russ. There's Chris who's been in love with Joanna for 9 years, but Joanna has fallen out of love with Chris (conveniently right before their wedding) and into love with Shane, who seems undecided.
"Alright that's a wrap on our first day of filming!" The director called. "I am so proud of everyone in this room!" She gave us all a pep talk before dismissing us.
I walked to the back to grab my purse and headed towards the door after changing.
"Millie!" I heard Jake call after me. I turned around to face him as he caught up.
"Hey Jake." I said with a huge smile on my face. I was in the best mood I had ever been in in my life.
"Hey, could I get your number so maybe we could go out for coffee sometime? Discuss chemistry and character dynamic and what not." He said shoving his hands in his pockets. I looked around and realized we were the last two on set. He must have waited for me to change.
Oh my god. My heart fluttered. I felt like a teenage girl with a crush again.
"Um, yeah of course!" I said reaching into my purse for my phone. I pulled it out too quickly and it flung straight at his face. Which was bad. Also bad that he had cat like reflexes and karate chopped it before it could hit him which threw it all the way across set.
We looked at each other with our eyes wide and mouths gaping.
"I am so sorry." He said.
"It's okay. I'm gonna go..." I pointed to the kitchen island it had landed under. I ran into the kitchen and  kneeled down. The island was one that had wheels and was supposed to move but this was a set. So it didn't. My phone was right under it in the middle. Right out of reach.
Jake kneeled beside me and looked under too. We both started reaching for it just barely getting close enough to graze the side.
Phrases such as "So close!" "Almost... Almost" and moaning and grunting were being let out when we heard footsteps and saw a pair of heels standing on the other side of the island.
"Ms. Andrews? Mr. Johnson? May I ask what you two are doing grunting after hours on set?" I heard the lady ask.
We stood up and saw the director smirking at us with a raised eyebrow.
"Well! I'm glad to see you're both fully clothed." She said almost laughing.
"Um I dropped my phone and it slid under here." I explained to her. She nodded in understandment and walked over to the counter. She grabbed a ladle from the hook over the counter and reached under the island grabbing my phone. She handed it to me still smiling. Wow. I was dumb.
"Here you go. Now you two go home. It's late." She said. We watched her walk out before turning to each other and laughing.
"A ladle!" Jake exclaimed.
"Duh!" I replied.
"Alright now let's see the damage." He said reaching for my phone. He grabbed the hand my phone was in and flipped it over holding his hand under mine.
"Nothing! You're all good! That's crazy!" He said.
I stayed staring at my hand resting in his. Probably just looked like I was staring at my phone but trust me I wasn't.
He dropped his hand after a second or two.
"So, the number." He said.
"Yes, of course."
I put his number in my phone.
I put Jake Johnsons phone number in my contacts.
Okay cool no biggie.
"Let's go home." I said. We walked to the parking lot and said our goodbyes.
I sat in my car and watched him drive away.
And then I screamed. Loud. The days events hit me. And I had never been so happy in my life.
