CASSIE POV

“Hey gorgeous how was Zane’s,” I said opening the door to Pierre, my dad walked into the front room glaring at me and then heading back to his room, thankfully he never threw one of his fits around a friend or other people because then people would know of his abusive attitude. I let the shiver pass thorough me and Pierre seemed to notice the tension in the air and pulled me up and headed to my room. “Did your dad get mad at you or something ?” she asked whispering in my room, “Um ya I guess you can say that” I said not making eye contact with her. She frowned and I quickly changed the subject “So how was Zane’s” I said going back to the light topic I knew would distract my friend I saw her blush“Oh lets just say he was on his knees begging for me to stay,” she said waggling her eyebrows while grabbing my straightener and make-up box from the bathroom and bringing it in my room.

She waved the straightener in the air like a wand then plugged it into the wall near my bed and sat me down, she brought my stand up mirror over to where I was sitting and started to brush through my hair.  “Oh gosh Pierre what did you do to that poor guy,” I said laughing, she just smirked and turned n the straightener, “Lets turn on some music to get you into the party mood,” she said plugging her iPhone into my speakers putting on some random alternative radio station. She took tiny strands of my hair straightening it to make sure it was dead straight, then she applied some certain oil thing so it didn’t become wavy again.

She moved me into the bathroom but faced me the other way so I couldn’t see my reflection in the mirror, “What are you doing silly,” I asked her trying to turn around, she pushed my head back lightly so I was facing the wall again, “You aren’t going to see this piece of wok until I’m finished completely. I rolled my eyes and closed them while Pierre grabbed my face wash and started to wash my face for me and dry it off, I felt her apply the foundation to my face and it tickled my nose. Soon I drifted off to sleep as Pierre continued working on my face, don’t judge I was tired.

“Cassie wake up,” Pierre said, I grumble and opened my eyes taking in the music still playing in the background.  Now that she was done with my makeup she asked me to curl her hair so I did. I took the original waves of her hair and curled the waves with the wand the same way. Her pink hair folded perfectly into loose beach waves that I was envious of.

Once we were all done getting ready it was around seven forty (yes we took that long to get ready, I have lots of hair and she was a perfectionist doing my makeup). I looked in the mirror and was shocked at the reflection staring back at me in the mirror, my hair was straight but natural looking, my eyes popped out against the bluish-gray eyeliner I had on, my lips were bold and red, the beanie added a playful tone to my appearance and the low cut shirt drew attention to my curves I wasn’t aware I even had.

“Holy shit!” I said to Pierre doing a double take in the mirror at myself  “You have magical skills I swear,” I said hugging her, “Honey, I just enhanced what you already had, you’re gorgeous!” she said smiling. I still couldn’t believe that that was me in the reflection I looked completely different I actually for once thought of myself as pretty. She smiled at me and pulled out her phone taking mirror selfies with me, we did one picture with a duck face, another one with our tongues sticking out and another picture smiling. “These are so cute I am putting them on Instagram,” Pierre said typing on her phone, I wasn’t a huge fan of people seeing pictures of me online but I don’t want to ruin Pierre’s girly mood right now.
