TWO

(A/N) I'm going to write the rest of this in Sonic's POV. Just so you know.

Overjoyed, I ran to the closet and stuffed my suitcase full of my clothes. Afterwards, I took my sketchbook, my pencils, and my only photograph of my family. Once finished, I walked up to my new parents. "Ok. I'm ready to go." I smiled. The two nodded, smiled, and took Sonic to their car. Sonic climbed into the backseat, and buckled up. "Alright! Time to head to your new home, Sonic!" Amy cheered. I smiled wide in response. I was finally going to have a family. Parents who love me, siblings to look after, a pet to comfort me. I never experienced those things, and now, I'll finally be able to experience these things.

"Now, Sonic, since it's your adoption day, we decided to give you a present!" Amy said. I gasped. I've never had presents! Or at least presents I could remember getting. Amy handed me a box that was shaking slightly. "Woah! Whatever's in this is lively!" I exclaimed. I carefully opened up the box, and a little creature popped out.

It was a sky blue with a few yellow spots. It had huge, cute blue eyes, a pair of small pink wings, and resembled a baby. "Wow! What is it?" I asked. "Its a chao," Silver said, "they're small cute creatures that love being pet and such." I nodded. "I'll call you.... Cheese!" I smiled. The chao babbled happily, assuming that he likes the name. Soon the car came to a halt. "We're here! Get ready to meet the family!" Amy squealed.

I quickly grabbed my suitcase, and walked out of the car, Cheese floating beside me. The house was lovely, it wasn't too big, but not too small either. The overall atmosphere was comforting. I noticed a two tailed fox, and a young bunny were playing catch in the front yard. The bunny noticed me, and ran up to me with a cute face. She said in a cute girly voice,"Hi, I'm Cream Collins! Nice to meet you, brother!" I grinned, and hugged her. "My name's Sonic!" I said jabbing my thumb on my chest, making her laugh. "H-hi, I'm Tails." the fox said nervously. I laughed and tussled his hair. "So I'm the new big brother? Well, I got a lot to keep up with around here with a couple of monsters like you!" I said playfully, grabbing Cream, and giving her a massive tickle-fest. "Hahaha! Hey, no fair!" Cream squealed in mid-laughter. "Actually, the oldest one here is Shadow." Tails said.

"Shadow?" I asked

"He's kinda weird, he doesn't talk much, and he acts a little mean when I accidentally bother him."

"Really?"

Tails nodded and then I heard Amy calling us in for supper. I walked into the house with the pair of twins. It was even prettier on the inside, beautiful paintings of flower fields decorated the walls, and comfy furniture was placed accordingly around the floor. I walked into the dining room to see my new parents with a big crock pot in the middle of the table. "I hope you like beef stew, Sonic" Amy said. I nodded. "Yes, I love beef stew!"

In the middle of eating the beef stew, (Which was delicious beyond compare!) I noticed that a chair was empty. "Uhh, who sits there?" I asked. "Oh, that's your brother's chair. He's a little sick at the moment, he needs to rest for a while, but he'll be better by morning." she smiled. I nodded. "You're going to share a room with him, but it seems tonight that you have to sleep on the couch. Is that alright, Sonic?" Amy asked. I nodded again. She smiled and patted my shoulder. "I'm so glad you're in our family." she said.

That night, I slept on the couch, dreaming of all of the good things that had commenced, and what fate might have later on.
