"Seth got a new girlfriend." I blurted out at breakfast. Feeling just as shocked at the words coming out of my mouth as my parents were. I hadn't planned on saying that. They hadn't planned on hearing that.
My dad was yelling now. " you are too young for that Seth Isaac Mason!" That got Seth going. "Dad! Im ten. You are gonna have to get used to me having a girlfriend, being old enough to do things, being included in the planning of things. Im gonna be in middle school next year. And I think its time you start treating me like a responsible part of this family." Wow did my brother shock the whole family. I didnt want to think about them making me include him in stuff now, so i excused myself to go to my room.
"Luna!" My mom called up to me. " If you dont hurry you will miss the bus!" "Ok mom!" I grabbed my stuff and ran out the door. As I nearred the bus stop i noticed a red ferrari with a smoking engine accross the street. I grew up in a family of auto mechanics so i went to offer my help.
"Hey, you need some help with your car?" I asked tapling the driver on the shoulder. Chase Barings turned and looked at me with a smile. "Yeah. I dont really know what happened." He said with a laugh of embarrassment.
