Little Mix story in progress

Chapter 2

When we walk into the studio we are quickly guided to a small dressing room where we can leave our bags and coats. "JADE don't put my Céline bag on the floor!" I hear leigh shouting to Jade. Jade just laughs and goes on with putting on her mascara. Leigh crosses her arms like a little kid and looks at Jade as if she wants to kill her. Leigh is not really a morning person either. I just sit on the sofa and open a bottle of water.'"Guys stop acting like little kids please, you two make me crazy." Jesy says with an irritated expression on her face, whilst walking into my direction. Wow she must be really tired, Jesy is normally the most energetic out of all of us in the morning. Leigh and Jade look at jesy and both slowly nod. Leigh gives Jade a hug and apologizes. Paul walks in and tells us the basic stuff that we've already known for years. Every time an artist gets signed to a label, they have to follow a media training course. They basically teach you what to say and what not to say on tv and interviews. They also teach you how you need to act. We don't really care about these so called rules. We say what we want to say and are as honest as we possibly can to our fans. I guess that's part of the reason we got so big. I'm not really listening and thinking about how bad I want to sleep when all of a sudden the girls stand up and walk to the door. I guess Paul told us we could go. We walk to the studio where the interview is gonna be held. It is quite small and I only see 2 microphones on the guests side of the table, I guess we have to share then. We walk over to the interviewers and introduce ourselves. I see on their faces that they don't really know anything about us. There are pictures of us on their desk with our names above them. Not that I mind. I don't expect anyone to know us, especially not over here in America. I look at Paul and point to the pictures without anyone seeing. Paul understands what I want to say and puts his index finger up making sure all of us girls see it. The other girls look at the desk, see the photo's and know exactly what paul means. Putting up your index finger means that we are pretty sure the interviewers don't really know anything about us. This tells us that we are going to have very basic questions about the first things that you find when you google us. Jesy looks at me concerned, whilst I look at her the exact same way. We all know that they are definitely going to ask questions about Zayn and Jake. Putting up your index finger also lets us know that we can't be too crazy. Interviewers that have interviewed us multiple times know we are bonkers. But we don't want to scare these poor people. We chat to the interviewers for a bit because the interview won't start for another 10 minutes. I look on my phone and see that I have a couple of text from my mum. Most of them are just asking how I'm doing and if I'm already up. My mum is really overprotective, annoying, but also really sweet. I answer her texts and put my phone down listening into the conversation Jade is having with the interviewers. It turns out the female interviewer ,kate, is also a big fan of Rupaul's drag race. Jade is totally in her element and keeps talking to her about the last season until the interview starts. Meanwhile Jesy and Leigh are talking a bit about our popularity in America to the male interviewer, whose name is Brian. I join their conversation and we talk about it until the interview starts.

"Goodmorning everyone and thank you for listening to radio 5, you're listening to the Kate and Brian show. Today we are joined by a successful british girl group, welcome Little Mix!"
We cheer and thank Brian for welcoming us. Kate grabs a piece of paper from her desk and starts with the first question. "Okay Little Mix, you're new album is called Glory Days, what is the meaning behind this title?". Okay here we go again, same old boring questions every interview. I think we've answered this question more than a 30 times."Well because we truly believe these are our glory days" Leigh answers with a fake smile on her face. "When we look back at this time in the future we will say 'those were the glory days''' Jesy ads. Kate smiles and goes on with the interview. "I think that's true girls" she says while looking over at Brian. "Yes" Brian continues, "You guys are getting big in america and you guys won a Brit award, How was that?". "It was the best night of our lives" I say. "We honestly didn't expect to win and we were just having a chinwag about who was going to win best single. When they called our name we didn't know how to react, we didn't even know where to go, and we walked to the wrong stage." I laugh thinking back to that night. "Leigh even knocked her chair over" Jesy adds, "So we were doing obstacles, climbing over chairs. It was a little bit embarrassing, but we didn't care we were way to happy and maybe have had a little too many drinks " Jesy says making us all laugh. Brian and Kate laugh along with us and go on with the next question. "Girls we heard you guys all live together on a tour bus. Don't you guys ever fight? I mean 4 girls in a small space for a long time doesn't seen like the best idea.'' Kate says. I honestly can't believe people still don't believe we are actually friends. '"No actually it's really fun!" Jade explains. "We've been together for such a long time and we are the best of friends. We want to be together all the time. Yes of course we have some sisterly bickers sometimes but I think that's normal ". The interviewers look at us like they don't really believe it but they go on with the interview. "Oh really?" Brian asks, "What was the last bicker about?" He asks with a smirk on his face. We all have to think for a bit but then Jade answers. "Well actually Leigh got mad at me because I put her bag on the floor!". "But it was my Céline bag" Leigh says with a pout on her face. We all laugh and Brian ends the first part of the interview by announcing Shout Out To My Ex. When the music starts we go off air.
