Chapter 3

When we go off air I immediately pull Jesy out of the room and walk to the toilets with her. I need to ask her what she's going to say about the whole Jake situation. I mean as far as I know they know nothing about the way they broke up. Until now Jesy hasn't told any press yet but she has been spotted without wearing her engagement ring. Also the last couple of photo's of jake, or at least them together disappeared from her instagram account. "What are you going to say Jes?" I ask her. I'm not sure if she came up with an explanation yet, but if she didn't she must come up with one soon, because I just saw the break up with Jake on the list of topics Kate wants to talk about."I don't know Perrie" Jesy sighs and starts pacing around the room. "I should come up with a story shouldn't I?". I nod and look at her. I know Jesy has had a hard time dealing with the break up, but she is actually fine with it now. "I don't know what to say, I hate this but I can't tell the truth can I?" Jesy says before splashing some water in her face. I go over to her with a towel and give her a hug. "I know you hate lying to the fans Jess, but I think you have to in this situation.". I pull out from the hug and look at her. She starts pacing around the room again. I can only imagine she is thinking of the best way to tell the press right now. "Maybe I could say that it just didn't work anymore, but that we are still friends?" Jesy says. I agree and quickly go to the toilet because we can see that they're already back on air. I wash my hands and we quickly walk back to the studio. "'Sorry we're late, Jess had a bit of a situation going on with her eyelash" I say with a fake smile on my face. "That's okay, now that you're back we actually have a question for you Perrie.". I nod and let Brian continue. "Is Shout Out To My Ex written about zayn?" Brian asks. Here we go again. This is one of those question that I've answered a 1000 times. Management doesn't allow me to say it actually is because there will be a whole edia drama if i'd say that. I don't understand though, I mean everyone already knows it is. "Not really" I answer, "Everyone has had a shitty ex and that's what we wrote this song about. It goes out to all our exes and not just one in particular". That was actually not too far from the truth. I mean the song isn't that specific, I really think everyone can relate. Brian nods at Kate and she goes on with the next question. "Jesy, I can see that you are not wearing your engagement ring, did you and Jake break up?". I see Jesy is nervous, but after taking a deep breath she answers. "Yes me and Jake broke up. It wasn't a bad break up. We just realised that it wasn't going to work after all. We're still good friends though". I grab Jesy's hand under the table and smile at her. She smiles back at me. The Brian and Kate thank us for the interview. We all respond that we are thankful they wanted to interview us, before saying our goodbyes to the listeners. We shake the Brian's and Kates' hands and thank them for the interview before walking off to the room next to the studio. In that room we film a little bit of promo for our album and for the radio station before we go back to the dressing room. In the dressing room I plop down on the couch and finish my bottle of water. When we all have our bags and coats we are escorted to our tour bus again.

Once in the tour bus I take my shoes off and put them back in the cupboard before I go and sit in the living area. Where all the dancers are already sitting. They just came back from dance practise in a little dance studio opposite the radio studio. Once we are all settled the bus driver starts driving to the hotel we will be staying in. We arrive at the hotel an hour later and Paul walks inside. We can see that there are only a couple of fans so we are allowed to go out with a security guard to meet them. We sign books and cd's and take pictures with them. We also just talk to them and we are finally able to have proper conversations with them. I love it so much when we can actually talk to our fans. When it gets a bit crazy and more and more fans keep arriving we have to get back in the bus. We just lounge with the dancers and decide to eat some biscuits. I know, not really the healthiest breakfast but I'm too hungry to wait for us to have breakfast in the hotel. All of a sudden Jade and Luke start a biscuit eating contest. Us girls are cheering on Jade and the boys are cheering on Luke. After 2 minutes we find out that Jade has actually eaten the most. That girl is small, but when you give her biscuits she eats like she hasn't had any food in a year. We are cleaning up the mess when paul walks in with our room keys. "Okay listen up everyone, we have 6 rooms today. I'm gonna call out the room, and you can come and get the keys when you've figured out who is going in which room." "Yes dad" Me and the girls all say at the same time. Paul laughs and goes to sit down on the couch. He first calls out room number 105, it's a room with a double bed. We all decide that Jade and Jed can have that room so they can have a little privacy, if you know what I mean. The next room is number 106, It's a room with 4 single beds, and the dancers decide to take that room. Then we have room number 107, this is a room with 2 double beds. Jesy, Leigh, and I take that room. Room number 108 is being taken by Aaron, Adam, Zack and Jamie, our hairdresser, makeup artist and stylists. The last rooms 109 and 110 are for all the people from management and our main production staff. Paul gives us our keys and we are escorted into the hotel. We all get to our rooms and put our stuff there. All the suitcases will be brought in whilst we are having breakfast. Jes really wanted her own bed for tonight so Leigh and I decided to share one. I put my bag down on our bed and let myself fall on it. "I'm so fucking tired." I complain whilst closing my eyes and trying to sleep. I hear Leigh walking to the bathroom, probably to fix her hair. I hear Jesy searching in her bed, probably for her phone charger. I hear a notification on my phone but I decide to ignore it. After a little while I don't hear anything anymore. I've fallen asleep.
