Medical Record

(Chief Complaint)
I'm knee deep standing in a rut
you dug for you and I

(History of Presenting Illness)
It hurts, the twisting of my gut
The pain from heart to eyes

(Medical History)
I admitted myself, a year ago
For burning in my chest

(Family History)
It seems I have my mother's heart
Still looking for your best

Now I'll review my systems
I'll examine, then assess

My heart is heavy
Nerves on fire
The anger steals my breath

The nauseating sadness
Fills my bowels with regret

My Pulse collapses
Quickly at
the memory of your face

I lose sensation
Knees in clonus
Shaken by disgrace

Limbs in tremor
You left me stuck
in tonic clonic fear

My heart, my nerves
and guts awry
But my chest is clear!
