I have been locked up, obviously. Kisame visits me and I have started calling him 'nemo' and 'fish stick' again, along with some other rude names. I feel so formal right now and it's bugging me.
OH! Tobi hasn't visited me since he threw me in here so that's good, it means my prayers are being answered by the cheese gods and hopefully if this keeps up I will be rescued by someone, also known as the cheese gods.
The door creaked open and Kisame slipped in wearing his usual perverted grin. To think that only a year or so ago I was beating him up and calling him ride names and now he's my only friend. I have no idea what happened to Akemi, but it's not like we were friends either.
"Good morning," He greeted, sitting down on the cement floor in front of my cell. I sat in front of him and folded my hands in my lap. My eyes were locked on the tray he had brought with them. He had a plate of sandwiches and two cups along with some water "Someone seems hungry." He joked, taking his time preparing my weekly meal.
"No duh." I grumbled. My stomach roared with hunger. It senses food nearby! Kisame better feed me or else I'll cook him alive! I grinned at the thought but it was quickly shattered when I realized that then no one would bring me food and I would have no friends.
"Manners." He scolded, sliding a small plate through the cell bars, the sandwich and cup followed. I greedily gobbled down the food and Kisame watched me with digust as he slowly picked at his own.
"Even Zetsu isn't that messy." He said, passing some napkins through the bars. I grinned, at least I made him uncomfortable. I cleaned myself and the surrounding area up and tossed the dirty napkins into a corner. I stretched out and yawned.
"So, any news?" I asked him. Kisame shrugged.
"Madara and Kabuto are still working together. The war is still raging on and the reanimation jutsu has proved to be quite strong — oh! Itachi was spotted!" Kisame explained. I jumped upwards at the sound of Itachi.
"Wait, really?! Is he okay?!" I bombarded Kisame with questions. He grinned.
"As far as I know he's doing quite well, he seems to be giving Kabuto trouble." Kisame suddenly frowned and stood up. His eyes glazed over and then suddenly snapped to attention "It appears I have to go, something's come up." He said and then he disappeared in a cloud of white smoke.
Shadow clone. I sighed tiredly. I should've known that he wasn't actually here. I walked over to my creaky and stained bed. I laid down and closed my eyes. I was going stir crazy in here. I want something interesting to happen.
A sudden thought came to me as I was staring at the ceiling... what if I never joined the Akatsuki? What if the clan had never been killed? Would me and Itachi have fallen in love? Would Sasuke still be in the village? Tears welled up in my eyes. I miss them. I want to go home.
"No need for tears, (F/N) darling." Said Madara in his deep, somewhat soothing voice. I blinked my tears away and sat up, glaring hatefully at the man that stood before me.
"Madara," I said.
"No need to be so angry, you're going to want to hear this." He said, gosling his arms over his chest.
"Oh, yeah? What is it?" I asked cautiously, he could be trying to fool me somehow.
"I understand how you feel towards Itachi and why you went looking for him no matter how stupid it was," Madara explained. I scowled. My plans were not stupid at all! "So I have a proposal, if you agree to stay loyal to the Akatsuki and fight in the war I'll allow you to see Itachi again." I jumped up with excitement.
"You have yourself a deal, Madara." I said. I would do anything to see Itachi again, even if I can't talk to him, seeing him alive — or alive as he can be... is good enough for me!
"I'm glad we see eye to eye." Madara said. With that he swirled away. I sat back down and sighed. My heart was fluttering in my chest. I was going to see him soon!
A few days later
I panted, leaning against a tree for support. My cloak was torn and My leg and left arm were severely damanged. Blood oozed out of the deep and ugly gashes I had attained during my fight against a large group of ninja from the allied shinobi forces or whatever they're called. I was near the hideout where Kabuto, Madara, and whoever else was there were. I stumbled forward.
I felt a familiar chakra nearby, it was an Uchiha's... my eyes widened as I gasped. It was his. I ignored the pain it cause me and began running, my legs were pumping. I was filled with excitement as the hideout came into view. I ran into the large dark cave, straight for where he was.
I burst through the doors and saw him standing there with Madara. His eyes flitted to me as I entered. Madara didn't look up when I entered.
"I figured you'd come running when you sensed his chakra." Madara said causally, he stood up "We just made a deal, you see."
"And w-what would t-that b-b-be.." I planted out, sinking to the ground. His eyes bore into me. He didn't look very happy, not as happy as I thought he would be.
"You'll see soon enough," Madara said "For now I recommend treating those wounds before returning to the battlefield." I scowled and stood up.
"That can wait... this man here is my..."
