A Sticky Situation

The First Day Part Three

The first day of school seemed to drag on for the human biotic as he sat down in his first class of the day. "I hope that this class ends soon so this day could go faster." After he thought that, three beautiful women appeared in the class. The teacher asked for them to speak their names. One had blue hair and blue eyes. Her name was Liara T'Soni. The second one had red hair and blue-green eyes. Her name was Dante Carlison. One had brown hair and brown eyes. Her name was Ashley Williams. Kaidan felt one of his heartstrings break when he realized he had seen Ashley before. "Ashley," he thought, "was the girl who kissed John in the hallway. And who John kissed back." Kaidan sighed, thinking that he'd never be able to be with John now. Especially since he had a girlfriend. "A girlfriend who he probably loves a ton."
He looked down at what he'd written in his notebook just then and he blushed. It said "John x Kaidan" with a heart around it. "Damn it, Kaidan! You're letting your feelings get the better of you, again!" He mentally scolded himself as the blush went away. He then heard a noise and then a voice, surprisingly sounding like John's. The voice forced Kaidan to abruptly look up.
"I'm sorry I'm late. I just transferred to this class. I'm John Shepard."

John regretted not doing this as soon as he got his schedule. He rushed into his new teacher's classroom to see Kaidan and... Ashley. "Fuck." He took a seat right next to Kaidan, whom he noticed began blushing. A small smile crossed John's face. "I'm in all of your classes now, K." He whispered, already calling Kaidan by a nickname. "By the way, you're blushing." John's smile turned into a smirk. He looked at Kaidan's body, beginning to blush himself.

Ashley looked over to see Kaidan and Shepard looking at each other with blushes. She made eye contact with John and glared at him. She smiled sweetly when John turned away from Kaidan. Kaidan looked over to see Ashley smiling sweetly after John turned away. He gave her an angry look before turning to John.

"We can get out of here if you want to talk about it, John." He said, placing a hand on John's thigh. The teacher called for a ten minute break and the two males walked out together. They walked into the male's bathroom and into one of the stalls. There was an awkward silence between the two when they went into the same stall. Kaidan broke the silence with a question.
"Do you like Ashley?"

John tensed up more once Kaidan asked that question. "K, I don't. The only reason why I dated her was because God forbid the captain of the damned football team be gay." He had just outed himself to his crush. "Fuck! Nice going, John!" He screamed at himself in his mind. He didn't mean to do that, but he just did. Now how would Ashley and Kaidan react to him being gay? "What if Kaidan doesn't like me only because I'm gay? God, there goes my whole world."

Kaidan wasn't all too shocked to hear that John Shepard was gay. There had been rumors a while back when both he and John were in junior year. "I knew it. I knew that you were gay." Kaidan chuckled and looked at John, who had began blushing when Kaidan said that. "And you don't have to think if I now hate you because you came out. I mean, I'm bisexual anyway. But I prefer guys over girls." He said, with a red blush on his cheeks.
