14. Parents pt2

Y/N P.O.V

We were all sat in the living room, an awkward silence filling the air.

"So... how long have you two been together?" My dad asked and I sighed.

"Your turn to explain." I mumbled under my breath.

"We met about a month ago. Y/N was- can we just show them then explain?" He sounded nervous and I tried not to laugh.

"Yeah. It's painful to watch you try." They both gave us strange looks as Sebastian stood up.
"Don't freak out ok?" Sebastian changed into a crow and their jaws dropped.

"Wha-?!" My mom almost screamed.

"Calm down, Sebastian is a Crow Demon. I was looking for a job and I found out I'm his mate. A soul mate sorta thing. I got into a fight with Claude, a Spider Demon, and... well, I died." Both their jaws dropped open. I let my eyes flash pink before changing into the black panther. Sebastian quickly changed back into a human and smiled awkwardly.

"I had no choice but to turn her into a demon or she would've died." I took a step closer to my parents who had fearful looks on their faces.
"She won't hurt you. It's still Y/N." he assured and my mother stuck her hand out. I happily let her pet me and play with my fur.

"Y/N? Is that really you?" My dad asked and I rolled my eyes. I nodded my head and his eyes widened.
"It's amazing, you're so beautiful." He stroked my fur and laughed slightly.
When I realised I was purring I backed away and changed back into my human form, blushing madly, causing everyone to laugh.

"So are you the one who taught her how to fight?" Sebastian turned to Dad and they started talking whilst my mother took me out of the room.

"How's life here?" I smiled at her and her smile only got bigger.

"You won't believe it. You have a-"

"Mom! I'm home!" A boy's voice came from the door and my eyes widened.

"Little brother." She finished awkwardly as a kid, around the age of 15 walked in.

"Who's this? Mom?" He sounded worried and his eyes widened, I heard his heartbeat raid in fear.

"Calm down Dylan, she's safe. This is Y/N, your older sister." His heartbeat slowed slightly and tears came to his eyes.

"I-I thought it was happening again!" He cried and held his hands to his face.
I looked to my mother in confusion.

"He watched a man kill his parents at the age of 12." My eyes widened and I approached him slowly.

"Dylan? It's ok. I won't hurt you." I put my hands up, but must have scared him because the next thing I knew there was a knife in my chest. My mom gasped and the boys eyes widened. Sebastian and dad ran in.

"Y/N!" The knife was directly over my heart and I looked at Sebastian who had a stupid smirk on his face.

"Bastard. I could have died and you just stand there with a smirk on your face?" I pulled the knife out and threw it and smiled when it hit him in the shoulder.
"You have a nice aim kid." I smiled at Dylan who had a terrified look on his face.

"Love you too." Sebastian threw the knife back to me and I caught it and cleaned it, before giving it back to the boy.

"Like I said, I'm not here to hurt you, just on a visit."

"H-how are you alive?! That pierced your heart!" He shouted and I flinched.

"I know, but it takes more than a knife wound to kill me." I smiled st him.

"Yeah it takes a slap apparently." I glared at the other demon.

"I'm going to slap you in a minute. Get inside the gym now." I turned back to Dylan and held out my hand.
"I'll show you something but don't over react ok? Just know I won't attack you." He nodded his head and I lead him into the empty gym.
