Ace fastened his black tie. Your daughter was going to bring him to the funeral. "Dad, are you ready?" She walked into the room as he turned around.

"Yes sweetheart. Could you grab my cane?"

"Yeah, of course." She did as he asked and helped him out of the house and to the car. The ride was an eerie silence. This time would usually have been filled up by your talking. You had never seemed to stop. Ever since the day he met you. Except now. Your words were cut short by a heart attack. 

The funeral had finished and Ace leaned over the casket to say his goodbyes. "Whiskey and beer. We were brought together by a 50s song and were in love since.
