Sadness

I wrap myself around her skin and hug her tightly.

Sliding down inside her mind, I find words wandering inside
I catch them in my hand, twisting and moulding

When we're playing hide and seek, her voice hides behind the walls of her heart

So afraid to walk on its own
I pick it up and place it lightly on her lips.

Singing along with her, our voices cuddled and our hearts synchronised

We sway our bodies until her pain
crawls down her eyes.

I tell her stories, of life.

I told her how everyone loves me much like I love them.

Her head laid down on my chest "I love you. I'm in love with you" she whispers in a faint voice.

"I am in love with you, my sadness" and she closed her eyes.
