VICTORIA'S POV

"Stay. I love that song!" I chime once I hear the song choice.

"I did too. Not so much anymore, though." Chance says and I give him a confused look.

"Why?"

"Uh, you'll see." He chuckles softly and I shrug.

"It ain't cute." Devin pipes in causing Chance to slap his arm.

"Ow!" He winces and Chance shushes him.

Well, I'm genuinely interested now.

In the current scene, the guys are all practicing their vocals and Andrew was having an apparent tough time.

"God, how embarrassing." Andrew whines earning a small laugh from the crowd.

Soon enough, the scene ends and right before the show cuts to another commercial break some previews for the upcoming scenes play. It shows a glimpse of the performance but it also shows some clips of the guys crying which immediately intrigues me. I guess I'm about to find out what Devin was talking about.

"That didn't look too fun," I tell him regarding the previews.

"Yeah, it wasn't. And, uh, for what you're about to see there just remember that this was all pre recorded a long while ago. Like, February to March." He assures and I nod slowly.

"Okay, got it. Why?" I ask, hoping he at least tries to make a move or tell me a little more about himself even though I already know what I need to.

"Because, um, there's something I wanna tell y-" He begins but is cut off by Brady jumping on his back. Awesome, interrupted again now by the second half of the new happy couple.

"Hey, pal!" Brady grins as Chance puts him down.

"Hey, you seem a lot happier than usual." Chance states, clearly a bit annoyed that he got cut off.

"That's because I am! I met this really amazing girl and-" He starts rambling until he turns to me causing his eyes to widen. "You're Amara's friend!" He exclaims.

"Yep. I'm Victoria, nice to meet you." I introduce.

"Brady. Sorry I didn't introduce myself sooner, I was kinda, you know," He snickers and I nod.

"Don't worry about it, I gotchu. And if you're looking for her..." I point behind me and he grins widely before saying goodbye to us and dashing to Amara.

"What was that all about?" Chance asks.

"Surprisingly enough, your friend and my friend are getting along pretty well as you can see." I laugh and he catches on.

"Right. Well, what I was gonna tell you was that-" Once again, he gets cut off by the sound of erupted cheers. Damn it.

The scene I assume Chance has been dreading to watch is now about to play and I can tell he's far from excited.

"Feel the song." Nappytabs told the guys.

The stories begin to play bringing up those like Cam's accident and Brady's stuttering problem, definitely earning a tear from more than one person in the room. They sing the line from the song again and the emotion in the room really was overwhelming. I notice that one of the ones in the worst state was Chance and apparently Tabitha had noticed it too considering it shows him now being pulled away. I turn to Chance who is intently watching his emotional self on the screen and I fight the strong urge to give him a hug.

"There was trouble in my relationship with, uh, my daughter's mom," He says. At this very moment, the tension can be cut with a knife. I give him a shocked yet remorseful look, remembering that I'm not supposed to know any of this.
