I'm going to be completely honest and raw with you. No sugarcoating, whatsoever.

When I first joined Wattpad, I've noticed most books on here were based off Sexual themes.

As a beginner and newbie, I decided to write my first Wattpad story about Romance. I wanted my foundation to be placed upon 'themes' which can earn more views and are currently trending. Because of the influence by reading others' stories, I incorporated cussing, sexual acts, etc inside my story.

In a way, I guess you can say I wanted to fit in within the crowd. I wanted my book to become 'famous' just like theirs.

And, that's where I went WRONG.

It honestly took me awhile to sober up and understand that the things I wrote on Wattpad were somehow affecting someone out there. I then asked myself these questions.

Does this book glorify God?

Am I helping others by writing this book?

Is this book influencing others in a positive or negative way?

And, these were the answers to my questions.

1. My book did NOT glorify God in any way. It glorified the enemy, Satan!

2. I was not helping others! Instead, I placed filthy thoughts and imaginations inside their mind.

3. My book influenced the readers to SIN!

After pondering and reflecting over my actions, I freaked out. Basically, I was doing Satan's job by helping and causing others to sin and be stuck inside their sinful cycles.

I'm sure we've all know or experienced how difficult it is to break down our sinful cycles. So, why are we planting wicked seeds and influencing others to chain themselves up? Is that the purpose of God? Will we be bless?

NO. NEVER.

Of course, reading and writing sexual books is never pleasing to God. There will be no blessing at all. Not only will it destroy your relationship with God, it will kill you spiritually and physically. Also, keep in mind, if you're writing NASTY books, you're helping someone sin meaning you're guilty! You'll have to take responsibilities for it since you've planted wicked seeds. You reap what you sow, right?

Just like in the scriptures, it states:

When I read these particular verses, I repented for my sins and deleted my story. Obviously, Satan didn't want me to delete it so he made the process really long which is weird because usually when you delete a story on Wattpad; it's pretty quick. Not only that, when I made the decision to delete the story and be right with God, Satan placed earthly doubts within my mind. He made me think of all the time I invested for this book and the number of views I've gained so far.

There was a battle going on but I continued to pray silently in my heart and the story was officially deleted.

To be honest, when it was gone, I had to remind myself that with God, anything was possible. With God, there will be better opportunities. All I have to do is trust in him and placed myself and decisions into his holy hands. This eventually gave me a sense of hope and relief knowing I did a good thing.

So if you're experiencing the same things, as a reader or writer, I want you to ask yourself the same questions.

QUESTIONS FOR READERS:

Does reading sexual book glorify God?

When reading erotic novels, does it help you?

Is the book influencing you to do good or bad?

QUESTIONS FOR THE WRITERS:

Does this book glorify God?

Am I helping others by writing this book?

Is this book influencing others in a positive or negative way?

MORAL OF THE STORY:

I realized that at the split moment of wanting to be like others, I lost sight of Christ and who I truly am.

A child of God.

A/n:

Thank you so much for reading whoever you are.

I pray that the Lord will give you a new sets of eyes to understand the things you don't understand. To remove all your burdens and to help you overcome troubling sins. Just know that God loves you and the key in drawing near to God is repentance and reading the scriptures. Fasting surely will help too! Prayers is also crucial. Good luck on your journey and may you be blessed.

You are not alone.
