A night of dubstep and turntables finally came to an end and the DJ jockey was so exhausted she went home. The street lights shone bright in the dark night and with her eyes barely open she continued to walk, the more she walked the more tired she became; with her heavy saddle bag dragging her down she couldn't walk anymore.

She stopped ten collapsed in the middle of her street and slept on the ground. With everypony asleep they didn't know the mare collapsed. An earth pony, exhausted too but never shown it, was on her way home to find a pale white unicorn with a blue mane and tail wearing purple sunglasses and a saddle bag with her cutie mark on it.

The unicorn was sleeping outside earth ponies house. The earth pony wouldn't leave her fainted on the ground so she brought her into her house. When the two ponies were indoors the earth pony laid the unicorn on the sofa and - since it's a one bedroom house - but that never stopped her generosity and kindness. She took the unicorns shades and saddle bag off and put a pillow under her head then put a blanket over her; when finished the mare went to bed and they were both asleep. One in bed and one on the couch.

Morning rose from the horizon and the DJ jockey awoke. She found herself in a house unknown to her. All around her were awards, family photographs and an instrument that her eyes have never seen, "What is this place?" She asked herself. but she saw a strange figure emerging from the hallway and raced to her shades and put them on hiding her eye colour behind the purple lenses.

A grey earth pony wearing a yellow house coat (dressing gown or robe) came into view, "So sorry to wake you dear, did you have a good sleep? Can I offer you some refreshments?" The mare asked, "Oh where are my manners? I'm Octavia Melody, a cellist."

The unicorn gazed at Octavia as she stopped fixing her shades, "I'm Vinyl Scratch." Vinyl said confidently and an awkward silence came into the atmosphere, "A DJ jockey?" Vinyl was confused that she wasn't recognised by Octavia, "Are you alright?" Octavia said walking up to Vinyl,
"Fine. I'm fine, really." Vinyl replied as she turned her head to the side and looked at the floor. She doesn't recognise me? she thought
