Dusk had just fallen over Riverdale when Jellybean arrived, a few rays of sunlight twinkling between the trees. The small girl looked around her, as if the town were unfamiliar. She knew it better than she would ever admit. Whether she was allowed to be here or not was the real question. She sighed, readjusting her book bag strap before beginning her walk. She was far too stubborn, as young as she was, to ask anyone for a ride. They all looked like strangers anyway. Each passing face unfamiliar to her dark eyes.
