Mika is actually pretty good at cooking, since he and Akane did it a lot at the orphanage. Yuu loves eating his home-cooked meals, sometimes calling Mika his wife, to which Mika blushes and begins to stammer. Kimizuki comes to him for advice, as well as the other way around, and, although Kimizuki wouldn't dare to admit it, they became friends over it.
