Out of the Blue-Chapter 15

"So glad you could make it Alexandrea!" Gabriell said. I could smell the booze emanating from his breath and cloths. "Its ALEX , A.L.E.X to you! And I  was just leaving thank you very much."  I said trying to squirm out of his grasp, but his arm was like a iron bar.  "Not so fast doll. You might as well stay and dance since you have someone to dance with. Or we could do other things if you'd like"  He said giving me a wicked smile that grossed me out. Then in a split second he pinned me against the wall and leaned in for a kiss."I don't think so buddy! let me go!" I said putting my arm on his chest to try to keep him at bey. "Why would I let you leave when I have you all to my self?"

The moment he said that I went into panic mode. "In your dreams Gabriell"  I said trying to let him not see my panic.He just stared at me with the intense stare, I pried my eyes away from his and, due to my quick thinking, I kneed him where the sun don't shine. As soon as he hit the floor I ran like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find the door I saw earlier.

I finally found it and ran as fast as I could. After about a mile of running I slowed down and made sure no one was following me. I could feel my lungs wheezing and knew I had to sit down, so I walked a little farther to Waterbrook Park and sat on a old ,army green bench. I looked  around while catching my breath, paranoid Gabriell was going to come after me. Finally, I felt my lungs get lighter and I stood up to walk home. As I was walking I looked behind me one more time, but when I turned back I ran into something hard.

"Hey watch what your d-" I stopped my ranting when I looked up and saw it was Caspian.

"Oh, uh, Hi."  I said while he reached for my arm to help me up. "What are you doing walking by yourself so late?"  He said in a very dad-like way. I snorted  "I could ask you the same thing"  I shot back.  "I was just taking a mid night walk if you must now."  I said still a little annoyed. "Right, well I was doing the same thing. But look, if your going to do these "mid night walks" then you really shouldn't be alone."  He said looking at me with a stern, yet worried face. "Well young man, neither should you." We both just stood there and stared each other down, then after what seemed like hours we finally both broke out into a laughter,"ok, you got me there" he said flashing his perfect smile at me

"Well I had better get home, its been one crazy of a night!" I said and started to walk away. He jogged up next to me "Well would you like me to walk you home and you can explain your crazy night?" I sighed, well I might as well. Mabey I wont be so paranoid then. "Alright, sounds good to me!" I said in a cheery tone. His hand brushed mine and I felt my hand tingle where he had touched it, I quickly pulled it away and decided on starting my story from when Gabriell had called me.

"Ok, well it all started after school when i got home. My mom said I had a phone call from Gabriell and I tried to ignore it but-"  He suddenly stopped walking and pushed me behind him. Everything that happened in the next few moments was a blur.

Out of no where Gabriell tackled Caspian to the ground, knocking me onto the cold park grass. Before I could stand up, the two goones from before came up behind me and grabbed my arms, one on each side. In my struggle to get out of their grasp I looked to were Gabriell had Caspian pinned and was repeatedly hitting him in the face. 'NO!" I screamed and struggled even harder till my joints in my shoulder started to ache. Then I saw Caspian elbow his side, making Gabriell roll over to the side. With in seconds he was at my side and flung the guy to my right into a far away tree. He did that like he was throwing a ball! That is not normal at all!

I just stared at Caspian in shock and slight horror. Before I had any real time to respond, Gabriell smashed Caspian into the ground with a sickening thud. I thought for sure something was broken but after a couple seconds he was back up and tumbling around the park with Gabriell, both fighting for control. Soon enough, they were both circling each other, deep snarling noises rumbling from there chests and there body's slightly vibrating. Am I going in sane? Is this a dream?

"What the heck is going on!" I yelled at them. But neither one seemed to hear me. Guess ill deal with this my own way. I turned to the guy that was still holding me, and with all my might, I right hooked him in the jaw. But instead of falling on the ground in pain, like I had hoped he would have, he just looked at me,unfazed and laughed. This definitely pissed me off. I swung my foot into his family jewels and that definitely sent him to the grass.

"Who's laughing now?" I said. My attention was draw away from my beat up session when I heard a ear piercing yelp come from the other side of the park. I booked it over there as fast as my size 8 1/2 feet could carry me, only to find Caspian on top of Gabriell with his fist high in the air. This is all to weird! Dog noises, super strength, vibrating? I.want answers!

I was bout to go over to them and  break it up, when the guy I kicked in the nuts football tackled me to the ground. "GAH!" I screamed clutching one hand to my side and one to my head.  That's when ,faster than possible, Caspian ripped him off me and knocked him out as well. I looked to the side of him and saw Gabriell laying limp on the ground, barley breathing.

I focused back on Caspian and took in his state. He was hunched over, blood covering his shirt and hands, and he was breathing deeply. as if to steady him self. I cautiously put my shaking hand on his back, making him shoot up. Startled I backed up a little. When he saw it was me, his eyes filled with regret, shame, and sadness. No doubt due to the fact at what i had just witnessed.

Caspian gracefully, yet slowly extended his hand towards me. I recoiled at the gesture, not knowing what to think of the scene that had just unraveled before my eyes, or what ot think of him.
