"Kara, pacing around the room is not going to help," Jase said and Kara sighed loudly.

"I know, it's just been so long and they haven't returned or even gave us a message," Kara while rubbing her forehead.

"Do they usually contact you on missions?" Jase asked and Kara shrugged.

"Sometimes, when the mission is longer than they expected. They would at least send me a text that says 'Fine' so I know that they are still okay," Kara explained and I nodded slowly. To be honest, I had a bad feeling about all of this. My knee was bouncing while I held my face in my hands.

"What do you think about this Dylan?" Kara asked and I was snapped out of daze.

"What?" I asked.

"Do you think that my father, brother, and the crew are okay?" Kara asked with a genuine worried expression.

"I don't know, I just don't have a good feeling," I said honestly. I didn't want to lie because the crew being compromised will actually result to me failing the mission. I mean, how could I gather information on them if they are all injured or dead?

"Do you think they got captured?" Kara asked and I shrugged.

"I am not sure Kara," I said and Jase inhaled sharply.

"If only we had some kind of signal that said if they are okay or not," Jase said and I agreed.

"Wait, I hear a motorcycle outside," Kara said slowly and we all rushed out the door. I saw only Ryder.

"Guys, the rest of the crew members got captured. Luckily, I was able to escape," Ryder said frantically.

"We have to do something," Kara exclaimed and I nodded. Simultaneously, we all glanced in Ryder's directions.

"What?" he asked, "There is no way I can lead everyone on a rescue mission."

"Well you have to Ryder, the rest of the members that are here are still in training," I said and Ryder sighed.

"How about you Dylan?" Ryder asked and Kara looked in my direction.

"Me? Need I remind you that I came here like a week ago?" I asked and Ryder rolled his eyes.

"You seem to know a lot about planning and you have it in you. I can see it," Ryder said and I reluctantly agreed. Normally, I wouldn't pass a leadership opportunity, but for this mission, I have to seem less experienced. Right now, I have to ignore that intuition and just rescue the members.

"Alright, gather all of the members who are still here in the main room. I need to think of a quick plan," I said to Jase, Kara, and Ryder and they nodded at me.

The room was filled with murmurs as all the other guys in the crew were waiting impatiently for someone to speak up. I paced back and forth trying to finalize my plan before Jase stopped me.

"Just trust your gut instinct Dylan, no need to cover up your experience on this. Let go of all the briefing Ramirez told you and just be yourself," Jase told me and I calmed myself down and nodded.

"Thanks Jase," I said before walking onto the platform.

"If you guys haven't heard, the crew has been captured by the Sniper Gang. Even though we were assigned on this mission, we have to go and rescue them. Not matter how much or little experience you have, we all have to work together. And I don't think you guys trust me very much because one---I am a girl---and two---I am a lot newer than you guys, but I have a plan. Based on what Ryder told me and studying the blueprints of the gang warehouse, I have decided to split the team into three. One team surrounds the base, proving backup, one tries to infiltrate the back door, and one infiltrating from the roof. I have decided that Jase will lead the team going through the back door, Kara and Ryder will surround the base, and I will take the roof," I said before everyone erupted in shouts.

"I think we should have someone else lead the roof," one guys shouted.

"Like me!" another one shouted.

"We can't risk Kara's safety. The Chief would have at us if something happened to her," one shouted.

"I nominate myself to take your place! I have been here longer," another shouted. I glanced over to Jase and Kara and saw the sympathy on their faces. Ryder gave me a look that said 'You got this.'

"Enough!" I shouted and the room abruptly grew silent, "First, you can't assume that Kara can't handle herself. Just because we are girls doesn't mean we aren't capable of doing what guys can do. Kara already agreed to helping Ryder lead one team, so that is the final decision."

"Who voted for you to lead us?" one shouted and I rolled my eyes.

"I did," Ryder said as he walked onto the platform, "All of you are worried about qualification and you know that in this room, I am the most qualified person here. But I know that I am not qualified to lead this mission, which is why I chose Dylan to lead us. If you don't agree with Dylan, then sit out on the mission because we can't have you guys having second thoughts."

"If you don't want to partake in this mission, then step aside," I said and once I saw that no one budged, I kept going on, "This side of the room will go with Jase, this side will go with Kara and Ryder, and this side will go with me. Is everyone clear?" Once again, I saw that no one objected so I nodded in victory, but we haven't reached victory just yet. Everyone piled into some trucks and others onto their bikes and we lit up the streets with our lights. The dark night sky was cut with our piercing headlights and the loud roars of our engines. About a decent distance from the warehouse, we parked out vehicles and walked the rest of the way, making sure not to make any loud commotion that will blow our cover. The successfulness of my plan was determined on how we can get in without making a big scene. My heart was thudding loudly and I felt the adrenaline starting to course through my veins; the feeling I can never get tired of. Once we got closer to the warehouse, everyone split up into their groups. I crept over to the side of the warehouse and with help from some guys; we boosted everyone onto the roof. I saw some ventilation systems and decided to climb in there. Some guys vouched to stay on the roof for lookout and some were going to take different paths than I was.

Hey guys! Sorry for the one week late update. I was very busy last weekend and will continue to update regularly.

*****For anyone who read Endless Fighting and wants to contribute a thought to the sequel, DM me through Instagram or private message me through Wattpad. I will take all of your ideas into consideration and of course I will give credit to you if I do decide to use it. It is a big help because I really want to write the sequel, but I am a bit stuck on some ideas during my planning process. It can be about character ideas, casting ideas, event ideas, plot ideas, etc.

Anyways, remember to...
