The girl wouldn't leave my memories, what was this? Whatever it was, I had to feel the ecstasy of being near her again. So I scoured Manhattan, looked high and low but to no avail. I simply couldn't find her. My head hung low as I sat on the edge of a small hotel, her face still haunting my memories and dreams. Maybe she was a sorcerer working for the angels, trying to drive me to insanity? Just as I had given up hope I saw the same turquoise jumper she wore the other day. My eyes lit up and my hopes came swarming back. I ran as fast as I could, leaping over the buildings. I followed her to a moonlit park with nobody else in sight. She sat down on a bench underneath a lamppost. I was positioned behind a tree with just my head peaking out from the side. Her head was in her hands and I could hear her sobbing gently. I didn't know what to do, confront her or just keep watching her? I couldn't move, was this fear? I had to do something, I couldn't just leave her there crying. I hesitantly shuffled towards her and stood in front of her. "are you ok?" I asked. She looked up slowly and I seen those beautiful brown eyes once again.
