"Yes he does, why do you ask? Do need a date to Coronation or something?" I ask trying to act cool.
"Is that, when FairyGodmother brings out the wand? Doug was trying to explain it to Jay." Mal said.
" Yep it's pretty cool." I said trying act nonchalant. Just then Ben came in.
" Hey Beth, which tie should I..... oh hey Mal." He stopped mid-sentence when he saw her.... uh-oh he likes her.
"Yellow." I said without hesitation.
"Hey Ben, Can my friends and I sit front row at coronation? She asks sweetly.
"Sorry, but only my family and girlfriend can. I am so sorry." He said.
"It's fine, but um Evie-I mean Beth and I are having girl talk so out!" Mal told him and shut the door.
"Mal? You called me.........." I started.
" I know what I called, you just look a lot like her!" Mal snapped. I felt bad, Mal didn't deserve this grief.
*time skip to the next day
I was supposed to give the
VK's a tour of the docks. Only one person showed up, but I'd only offered for Harry Hook anyway. My Ex boyfriend/ my first real love. I missed him so much and seeing him so grief-stricken was very difficult for me. I want to say I'm Evie, but I can't.
"So, Beth this is what Auradon docks look like, I never would have guessed."
"Well they aren't the nicest in the world, but I like them." I told him. We went on a boat ride, and it felt like old times.
"This was an great day Beth, ye really didn't have to show me around." He said.
"Nonsense I wanted to!" I told him. I tripped and Harry instantly caught me. He pulled me close.
"Ye know yer even prettier up close princess." He said before he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back, then we pulled away. He walked me back to the castle, just in time to catch the limo going to Ben's tourney game.
