Chapter 10: Burning down the veil

*Certain college, Seoul*

Namjoon was giving a first year class their lecture in history when he felt a shock go trough him. His breath immediately stoked but he forced himself to go on as if nothing had happened.

The moment they had arrived on earth he had connected all off them together with a magic thread making sure each and everyone off them would know if something had happened to one off them.

The magic thread with Yoongi was getting pulled tightly almost as if he was in a tight situation. Namjoon couldn't fully put his finger on it but one off the precenses next to Yoongi was Yeolgi yet the third he could not dechiper.

As a mage it was easy for him to divide his attention and mentality, and if it was not for possible danger lurking around in the college he would have used his sensing magic to see who the third precense was.

Hence without any further information he was fearing for Yoongi's safety. He knew his brother was strong enough to protect himself but there was Yeolgi and they still didn't know what the girls could or were able to do.

"Guys something happened to Yeolgi..." at that moment Yoongi's voice resounded trough his head surprising him even more than the shock he received before...

*Amaryllis flower shop*

"Here you go." Jin said handing Mirae the freshly put together flower bouquets.

"Thank you." Mirae neighed her head at him but she did not look at him as she took the bouquets from him and placed them in the appointed place.

Jin watched her with displease written all over his face and a frown present. Since everything had been revealed two days ago, Mirae had starten acting weird towards him. She wasn't as open and friendly as she used to be with him. 

She seemed to put more and more distance between them and gave him a lot off short and cold replies. He could understand the fact that everything must have come as a shock to her but he wonderd what she would have done if no one had ever found about them. Hide it for the rest off their lifes? Live peacefully without a concience off a total kingdom pericing.

Without saying a word Mirae left for the storeroom after putting the bouquest away. Jin immediately followed her as he decided he needed a clarification.

Startled by footsteps behind her Mirae turned around but she relaxed when she saw it was Jin. She was about to continue what she was doing when Jin grabbed her wrist and pushed her against the wall off the storeroom.

"What are you doing?" Mirae asked surpised as he eyes got bigger and she felt her face heat up under Jins intense stare "Stop it Kim Seokjin, I don't even know if I can trust you but you can still do this to me!".

"What's been going trough your mind Mirae for the past two days?" Jin asked as Mirae tried freeying her wrist from his grip.

"N-Nothing." Mirae answerd "Good job, you sound so convincing~"  Mirae mentally sighed at herself.

"Oh really?" Jin raised an eyebrow at her "That's why you've been putting a distance between us and acting cold.". 

"Then what do you expect me to do?!" Mirae lashed out at him, having enough "You guys move in as our neighbours and make us believe you're all friendly with good intentions. Exactly one and a half month later you tell me you're actually from Divus our home planet and that you have come here because off a certain artifact wich pointed towards us. Turns out everything was a act and you guys don't trust us.". 

"Who said everything's a act?" Jin asked as hurt flashed trough his eyes.

"Who said everythings true?" Mirae retorted "I bet he can feel my heartbeat go like a sledgehammer...".
