Evie's POV

I'm sitting at Mal's house in the living room. I was obviously sitting on the couch, while Lex was playing with her toys on the ground in front of me. "E, so I was thinking we need a girls night. Get you away from Lex and Doug for a couple hours, and hang out with the girls." I smile softly, "M, that sounds amazing, but before a girls night, I kinda want to have a night for just me and Doug first. We haven't us time since Lex was born." Mal nods before standing up abruptly.

"I'll be right back." She smiles before running off towards Ben's office. I heard a sequel before I saw Mal running out of Ben's office. She sits back down next to me. "Ben has agreed that we will watch Alex tonight while you and Doug go do whatever you want to do. He agreed that we need to start practicing on a baby before ours comes along....." I don't even let her finish, I pull her into a hug, "thank you, thank you, thank you." I smile brightly, she laughs, "you're welcome." She smiles hugging me back.

I can't wait until I tell Doug. This is going to be the best night ever. I miss just having, as Mal calls it 'Devie' time with my fiancé. I've been craving us time for about a week now. All I want to do is cuddle up with him, and watch a romantic comedy movie. Maybe not even watch the entire movie.

Ring Ring

I answer my phone. "Hello." "Evie, leave Alex at Mal's, Belle and Adam have clothes for her, we are having a date day." I smile brightly, "Will do Dougy." I smirk "Eve's don't call me Dougy." He sternly says into the phone. I giggle. "Okay, whatever. I love you." I smile "I love you too, got to go, goodbye." "Goodbye." I make a kissing sound before picking up Lex, I kiss her head softly. "I'm gonna leave you with Auntie Mal's house tonight. Behave for her." I smile softly kissing her head again, before handing her to Mal. Mal starts to tickle her slowly. Before laying her on the couch so she doesn't end up kicking her.

"Bye have fun E. Remember not to have too much. You already have one cutie." She chuckles giving Lex a raspberry. I smile brightly, Mal is going to be an amazing mother. I give my sister a hug before standing up. "Bye baby girl. I love you so much." I give Lex a big kiss on her forehead, "can you give mama a kiss?" Mal asks softly. Lex gives me a sloppy kiss on the cheek. I giggle, I wouldn't trade any of these moments for anything. "Can you wave bye to mama?" Mal asks picking her up as I start to head to the door Mal following after me. Lex gives me a small wave as I head out the door. "Call me if she starts crying. She always needs to hear my voice before she goes to bed. Read her a story before you call me. Its part of our bedtime routine. Warm milk with formula right before bed. Then you read the story, then call...." "E, I got it. Doug texted Ben all the info. Now go." She pushes me out the door with the hand not holding Lex.

I get to my car before starting it up. I buckle up. I put the car in reverse then start to pull out of the huge driveway of the castle. I then put the car in drive and head towards our apartment. Our castle should be ready in about a few more weeks. I pull into our drive way. Park the car and get out. I start towards our house. "Evie!" I turn around and notice Gil behind me. "What do you need?" I ask putting my hands on my hips. "Chase won't eat, and since Alex already went through this month, do you know why?" He asks softly, "try going to apple sauce or mashed potatoes. If that doesn't work, cut up bananas really small or mash them. Try using real food." I smile, "Thank you." "You're welcome. Chase sees you eating real food, and wants to start to try them himself." I smile.

Gil runs off back to his apartment. I continue onto mine. I open the door since Doug was home. "Honey I'm home." I smile brightly. I never get tired of saying that. "Evie." He comes around the corner with roses in his hand. "You look stunning as usual." I smile brightly, "you look handsome as ever." I step closer to him running my hands through his hair. He blushes a deep shade of red. He hands me the roses. "Why thank you dear." I smile pecking his cheek.
