Arianna awoke with an arm around her. Her brows furrowed and she looked over, seeing Nicholas sound asleep beside her, his chest bare. Her face became beet red and she just gaped. He was an absolute god without a shirt on and Arianna was an absolute mess. His torso was muscular but it was just one of those faint lines. You could tell that before he became a vampire, he worked hard in his life. He eyes trailed down his chest and rest on his lower stomach. His pants were hanging low on his hips and it left a lot to the imagination. Arianna licked her lips but frowned once she saw scars on his side. She reached out to tentatively touch them but his hand caught hers. "It's not nice to touch someone when they are sleeping." He grumbled, his gaze bore intensely into her. "I-I'm sorry, I saw the-" He covered her mouth with the other hand. "Shut up and lay back down." He pulled her close to his body and she inhaled sharply. He was freezing but, it was oddly comforting to her. His fingers lightly ran through her hair and she inhaled softly. "Why did you sleep in here?" She asked and he laughed.

"Oh my little rogue, you really think I'd sleep in that bed? It really was uncomfortable so, I moved us to my room." She shot up quicker than a hound from hell after he said that. "In your room?" He nodded with a wide grin plastered onto his face. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" She screamed stood beside him. Nicholas raised an eyebrow and went to speak but she growled in frustration. "You know what, don't even answer that." She turned to stomp out, completely embarrassed but she couldn't move. "I never said you could leave." Nicholas purred and walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her. "I want you to stay with me today." He let out a breath on her neck, eliciting a shiver from Arianna. "I gave you your privacy to get you accustomed to this new life but now, your seven day trial period has ended." Arianna glared at the floor in front of her. "Turn around." She did, even if she had no control of her body at this point. "I am going to tell you what will happen today." He whispered and kissed along her neck. Arianna fought back a small moan and closed her eyes in bliss.

"I am going to have fun with you today." He whispered and nipped her jawline. "And then I am going to feed from you." Arianna's body tensed up. "Don't worry, it won't be like last time." His voice seemed to be softer, gentle even. "B-but what about my c-classes?" She stammered and readied her fist. "I've canceled them today. Don't worry though, Leila will be coming tonight." Arianna let out a sigh of relief. But, her relief was short lived when she, in a blur, was suddenly pinned to the bed. "I want you to look at me." She shivered and looked up at him, her eyes glistening with tears. "I won't hu-" A door slammed and Nicholas visibly tensed up, his eyes growing into a pitch black. Leila had never been more scared in her life. If it was who she thought it was, she was screwed. "Get under the blankets." His whisper was barely audible but she did as he asked and watched Nicholas as he straightened his hair and walked to the bedroom door. She immediately shut her eyes. "Hello, brother!" Sebastian's voice rang and she fought hard not to flinch at its harshness.

"Hello to you too. Where have you been?" Nicholas' voice somehow soothed her, allowing her body to relax despite Sebastian's presence. "I actually was with the King all week. You know, doing our job." She felt his eyes on her and she nearly whimpered in fear. Sebastian was the only vampire that truly scared her. She would gladly take on any other one but he, he just absolutely terrified her. "I see you have her in your bed. How is she? Feisty? Kinky?" Nicholas growled lowly. "Leave, Sebastian. I will do with her as I please and I do not need to tell you what I do." She heard a soft sigh of defeat. "What a shame. Well, I will see you later, brother." The door slammed and when she opened her eyes, she saw Nicholas punching a hole through a nearby wall. "Damn it!" She slid from the bed and licked her lips. Her feelings were absolutely conflicted. Just moments ago, he would've had her and she was scared but now, she wanted to comfort him. "Nicholas." She whispered and walked behind him, placing a hand on his back. His muscles tensed and she pulled him to her body. "Just take a breath, alright? He won't hurt me." She didn't know that and she greatly doubted that but, she needed him calm. He scoffed and turned to face her. "You don't know him, little rogue. He will pursue you to the ends of the earth just to watch you suffer." Arianna scowled at him.

"I don't care what he wants," She growled and jammed a finger into his chest. "I am not his. I am yours." Nicholas' eyes widened and searched her expression. "He can try all he wants but I have you. I can always protect myself as worse case." Her voice grew soft and she gazed at him. "But I know you won't let him touch me." Arianna took one of his hands and placed her other hand on his cheek. Suddenly, she was pinned against a wall, her arms above her head and his lips on hers. This seemed to be a common position for her, not that she was complaining. It was an intense kiss, one filled with absolute passion. "I will never let him hurt you, Arianna." She inhaled softly. Hearing him say her name so softly, sweetly created a feeling in her that she could not describe. "I promise you that." He kissed down her neck, pulling her hip towards his. A small noise passed from her and she sighed. His fangs lightly grazed her flesh before he began to leave small bites. "I-" she trailed and tightened her grip on his arms, moaning softly at the feeling. "Just bite me already." She growled in frustration, glaring at the vampire. Nicholas chuckled and carried her to his bed. "I do believe you have grown to like being bitten, my dearest little rogue." He purred and ran his hands down her body.

"Shut up." She grumbled and pouted. Nicholas chuckled and licked the base of her neck. "I don't want you to be scared." He suddenly murmured, gazing at her intensely. With that, he bit down, hard. Arianna gasped and arched her back, closing her eyes. She could feel the blood leaving her body, feel his his tongue moving along her flesh as he drank. A moan slipped past her lips and she balled her fist in his hair. This time, it felt different. This time, it felt like heaven and she absolutely loved it, never wanting it to end. However, just like that, it was over and Nicholas was above her with blood on the corner of his mouth. "You smell different." He whispered as she wiped his lips with her thumb. "How so?" She asked and watched as he lightly sucked on her thumb. "Sweeter, you smell sweeter." Arianna couldn't stop the blush that turned her cheeks bright red at his comment. "I-I don't know why." she stammered, looking away towards the wall. "Oh, my little rogue, no need to be embarrassed. I know why." Her cheeks became a brighter red and she squirmed beneath his gaze. "Don't worry. I'll wait to Sebastian's gone." He whispered and kissed her neck gently before placing his lips against hers. "I'll protect my little rogue."
