Nicholas sighed softly, causing Arianna too look up from the little device in her hand. She had been staring at her brother's picture the whole two hours they have been in the car and it elicited excitement in her gut. "Are you sure you are ready to see your brother?" He asked suddenly, his eyes staring at the window. Arianna was taken aback by his question. Of course, she was ready to see him, it had been nearly a month since she had seen her family, and even she knew he was the last bit of family she had left. "Yes," she replied simply, staring at him coldly. What kind of question was that? Silence rang in the limo, leaving a tense air between the two. "Are you just going to stare at me the whole time?" Arianna huffed and looked away. Whatever was wrong with him, made him in a pissy mood and Arianna hated it. The limo pulled to a stop and the door for Nicholas opened, revealing a large castle. It was more than Arianna could ever dream of! It reminded her of the castles she read about as a small child, the castles her grandmother would paint as she told stories. A small smile made its way to her lips and she slid out of the limo once Nicholas was standing. "I am being serious, Arianna." Nicholas refused to face her. "I want you to show rogue nature but, I want you to be respectful."

She sneered and scoffed. "Yes, because I'm not respectful." Nicholas glowered at her and sighed, shaking his head at her. "Let's just go." He made his way through the doors and there, three people stood. Arianna, still amazed from the castle itself, was still open mouthed as she set eyes on said men. "My Lords." Nicholas bowed slightly, extending an arm as he did "My Lady." He looked up at the woman who smirked slightly. Arianna felt a pang of jealousy but was quick to rid of it. "Lord Nicholas, as always, it is my pleasure to have you." The middleman, whom Arianna assumed was King Alexander. The two vampires embraced and laughed. "And this must be the rogue I have heard all about." He made his way towards Arianna and a wide grin spread across his face. "You are a very beautiful human, Arianna. I am very pleased to meet you." Arianna was taken aback by his actions. He was so... welcoming to her. It was definitely a different feeling. "Thank you, My Lord." She whispered, her eyes wide. "Speak louder." The women urged, a gentle smile playing her lips. "I-uh." Arianna stammered and cleared her throat. "Thank you." She stated simply, her eyes boring into his. "I like your spirit, Arianna. I suppose this is why young Nicholas here has taken such a liking to you."

"My lord Lucian," Nicholas began, taking Arianna's hand in his. This, shocked her. "Arianna Frey, the infamous rogue." Arianna sneered at the name before bowing slightly to the prince and princess. "It is a pleasure." She stated, bowing and looking up at them. She wanted to show that she may be a 'pet' to their kind but that she was indeed different. "Is she fun, Lord Nicholas?" Princess Amelia purred, walking up to Arianna and circling her as if she was prey. Well, in a sense, she was. "She is very surprising." He replied, seemingly refusing to spare a glance her way. Arianna huffed and looked up at the Princess. "I see..." The princess murmured softly and placed a hand on her shoulder. "How did you make this?" She asked, taking the fabric of Arianna's shirt between her fingers. "When I was in the wood, we relied on animal hide for cloth." She explained simply, looking around and found that the King was studying her closely. "But, we made these ourselves rather than relying on others to make it for us." She sneered.

They wanted to see rogue spirit, she was going to give it to them. "Oh!" Princess Amelia giggled and clasped her hands together excitedly. "Sister, you will have your fun later. Let us head to the dining hall. Our guests are awaiting her arrival." Lucian muttered, his eyes never once leaving Arianna. It was daunting to have such a strong gaze on her. He seemed to be figuring out all of her fears with just a glance and that irked her. "Come on." Nicholas murmured, placing a gentle hand on the arch of her back. "Why were they staring at me like that?" Arianna whispered softly, her eyes on the three royals ahead of them. "It has been some time since they have seen a rogue." Nicholas peered at them before leaning into her ear. "They prefer the blood of rogues because it is sweeter than those who were born into the game." Arianna furrowed her brows, frowning slightly. "How is our blood sweeter?" Nicholas hesitated and when she looked up, his eyes seemed to be glazed over. "It's hard to explain. It's more of a feeling rather than a taste."

"I suppose it is because those who are rogues are untouched. Usually, it is generations of those who are untouched by us and the blood goes through a process, reverting to how it was before we took over." Arianna looked down in thought and pursed her lips together. "How does my blood taste?" Nicholas chuckled and shook his head. "It's... how do you say," He paused a moment, seeming to think about his words. "Do you remember how venison tastes?" Arianna nodded, grinning at the thought. "Have you eaten it with the red still visible?" Arianna's mouth began to water at the thought. "It was the only way I'd eat it. Without the red, it would be too dry for my tastes." Nicholas chuckled and lead her through a large doorway which revealed a dining hall. "It tastes like that." Then he turned and sat beside Alexander. Arianna opened her mouth to spoke but movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention. She looked over and her mouth hung open. There he stood, seemingly already dead: Conner. "Conner?" She breathed out, tears welling in her eyes. He... he wasn't her brother anymore. He was.... A shell.

Her whole body began to shake as she watched Conner shamble across the room, carrying a tray of goblets in his arms. "Ah! Good work, boy." Lucian exclaimed happily, taking a goblet from the tray. "Bring out the food for our guest's pets." Conner bowed and continued to walk along the table. There were about five other vampires she did not recognize but she could care less about them. Her brother was.... He wasn't him anymore. "Conner?" She called again and grabbed his arm as he passed her. Conner paused and looked up at her, his once brilliant eyes were dead and his face had sunken in. It was apparent he had not eaten much at all within the month they had been separated. "Conner, it's me, your sister." She squeaked out, tears freely spilling. She could feel the eyes of the vampires on her, boring into her, but she didn't care. She wanted her brother back. "I need to get to work." He mumbled, looking towards Lucian who glared at him. Conner flinched and pulled his arm away from her grasp. "Conner, wait!" She cried and clung to him crying. "I need-" A growl erupted in the room and the sound of hands slamming into the table. "Go." Conner gasped sharply and managed to pull from her once again.

"What did you do to my brother?" She asked, balling her fists, her whole body shaking. "I've trained him." Lucian purred, his eyes boring into her, a cocky grin played his lips. "He... he is just a kid." She whispered, looking down at her feet. "Yes, he is," Lucian stated, walking up to her. Arianna could feel her anger bubble up in her gut and rise into her throat. It burned her whole being and she could barely contain it any longer. "I am only tolerating your disrespect because I," He looked over at Nicholas who was watching wide-eyed. "Respect your Master. I like what he does." Lucian smirked. "However, I will not tolerate your-" He was cut off once Arianna lunged at him, pinning him down. "He was just a kid!" She screamed, throwing her fists anywhere she could hit. Snarls erupted in the room and Lucian threw her off with ease, slamming her into a pillar. Arianna gasped for air but was quick to jump up and run at him once again. She was fueled by pure hatred. She wanted him dead. "Arianna!" Nicholas' voice rung in her ears but she ignored him. She would make this bastard pay for what he did. "And you must know what we did to your parents." Lucian hissed with a sadistic grin. "I was there, oh how they screamed when they were torn apart by the Savage," Arianna screamed ran and snatched up the decorative spear.

"Oh, how convenient." He hissed as she ran towards him. Arianna screamed and lunged it towards him but he expertly dodged, standing there and staring at her expectantly. Arianna lunged at him once more, pinning him to the ground with an arm raised. She would tear out his heart with her bare hands if need be. "Arianna." A voice whispered behind her, hands rest on her shoulder and she raised her arm. "Stop this now before you do something stupid." Tears streamed down her face and she turned around and sobbed into his chest. "I want to leave." She whispered to Nicholas, clutching his shirt as he picked her up. "She is incredible!" Alexander exclaimed with a clap, startling both Arianna and Nicholas. "My Lord?" Nicholas inquired. "Her speed and dexterity is a marvel!"

Arianna glared at Alexander, her face sticky with her tears. "What?" Her voice was harsh and her gaze was harsher. "Ah, forgive my insensitivity." Alexander made his was to the duo where he smile gently. "I apologize about your brother, Miss Frey. I completely understand your anger." His eyes flickered to Lucian who was glaring at her. "And while normally, I would sentence a slave who attacks a vampire to death," His eyes bore into hers. "I found you to be very impressive. You move very quickly for a human and your skills despite your emotions, were very impressive." Arianna sniffled and clutched to Nicholas. She felt safe in his arms and it helped her keep her cool. "Come, sit at the table and eat with us." Alexander offered, extending an arm out towards the table. Nicholas was hesitant, looking down at Arianna whose gaze was icy. "Thank you for your forgiveness, My Lord." Nicholas murmured, bowing his head. "Of course, Nicholas." Alexander smiled and glanced at Arianna. " I believe we both have such high hopes for our dear little Arianna."
