The 6 year old laughed as he was being chased by his sister. He ran around the house holding up a book, a half way torn up yet loved book that his sister adored.

"Zep! Give it... ZEPPELIN!!!" Alena yelled, her voice cracking in the midst of her losing her breath. She finally got to him, she put an arm around his neck.

Zeppelin whimpered trying to loosen the grip, he raised his arms up to remove her arm, causing him to drop the book.

He stumbled as Alena let go, and bent down to pick up the book. She groaned.

"I've hurt you enough.." She stated in a deep growl.

She ran back to her room and locked the door. She sighed as she walked over to her bed. Placing the book with title "The Otherworldies" on the night stand, she laid down on her bed.

A few tears slipped away from her eyes. She couldn't help but cry, her goal was not to hurt. Though, she could never achieve it. And never will.

There was a knock at the door, distracting her from her thoughts.

The words, Don't hurt.. don't hurt kept repeating in the head of Alena.

After a few minutes, the knocking stopped. The sound of small footsteps passed across the hall.

To late, you've already hurt. No going back.

Alena sighed looking around her purple, white, and black room. She rubbed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"You've done it now, Alena.." She whispered.

She walked back to the door, and unlocked the door. The clicking of the door satisfying her a bit. She turned off the lights, went back to bed, and closed her eyes.

I've hurt enough.
