"tonight there will be a professional banquet in your honor." Lucifer told Alexia as they walked down the corridor.
"but I just had one." Alexia thought out loud.
"that was the announcement you have returned and what was supposed to be the transformation ceremony. This time it will be a proper party." Lucifer pointed out.
"oh."
It was the day after her power training, and she was exhausted. Mentally, that is. Her physical condition was in top shape, otherwise not so much. A party did sound nice, especially one for her since she never had one just for her. Even on her birthdays it was always just her and her parents. Speaking of her parents...
"are you my real father?" Alexia blurted. Lucifer stopped and so did Alexia. He turned towards her and she instantly regretted asking. Instead of being angry like she thought he would have been, he just smiled,
"yes, I am."
"so I...actually had a mother? Is she really in Heaven? You can tell me now that I accept that I'm...dead."
"yes, she's an angel."
"where is she? Really?"
Lucifer hesitated for what seemed like an eternity, "Heaven." he finally replied.
"can you tell me more than what you already told me?" they walked together.
"when I was an angel, God granted me a daughter. As so long as I was fit to take care of you. When I was banished from Heaven, your mother thought it would be best for you to live nor on Heaven or Hell, and have a normal life."
Alexia didn't process all this at the time she was told, "woah, woah, wait. So I had these powers on Earth all along?"
"yes." Lucifer replied simply. Suddenly, all these memories of her thinking she had read an odd thought of a passerby, or reading people's auras in the categories of the seven deadly sins. And when she wanted a school cancellation, the weather did comply a lot...
"NO WAY!" Alexia yelled, filling the stone hallways with her voice.
"yes, way." Lucifer laughed.
"so, why was I sent to Hell?" Alexia asked as they began to walk again.
Lucifer seemed to be less happy to answer this question, "well, I missed you. And I needed you to help me down here. I wanted to be close to you. The question was, Heaven or Hell?"
"who decided that?"
"God."
Alexia didn't really know how to handle this. She didn't exactly see why God would want her here for all of eternity. Was Lucifer not telling her something?
"also, in Heaven, you wouldn't get to return to Earth. Ever."
Alexia decided Hell may be the better choice. Even though all she wanted when she died was to go to Heaven.
Back in her room, Alexia didn't know what to do next. Go to the supper hall where she knew the guys would be. Go wander the grounds. Or...dare she go into the unauthorized part where all of Earth's damned humans reside. She knew the last one was the most inviting, but she also knew she hasn't been here long enough to get into trouble. She groaned and laid on her bed. She bolted up as she looked at her stereo that was in the same place it was on Earth. Could she turn it on with her mind? She threw the chair across the room, this should be simple. She placed her hand out in front of her, and looked at the stereo. She flicked her wrist. Nothing.
She took a deep breath, and reached her hand out farther. She flicked her wrist even harder, and the music blasted through the speakers so loudly, she yelped and fell off her bed. She made a twisting motion with her hand, turning down Greenday. She was now laying headfirst on the floor with her feet resting on her bed. She covered her eyes with her hands and sighed. This wasn't easy.
