In the dark mist of a late night, a red haired teen girl tip-toed through the tall grasses and forest. She furrowed her eyebrows, reached the mossy trunk of the tree against her palm hand, and tilted the side of her head next to the tree. She stared cautiously and breathed softly, started moving her foot onto the dampened grass. She approached toward the huge darkest lake, none other than a strange creature stood on the grass nearby the lake. When she got closer to the strange creature, she could see clearly that the strange creature turned out to be a teen pale boy dressed in the strange dark clothes through the moonlight and his age was the same as her age.

When she froze, the boy turned his head around and his brown eyes looked into her eyes. He offered her a hand and gave her a smile, "Madeline. Come and dance with me."

Madeline looked at his hand that boy offered and glanced back into his eyes. She hesitated firstly, then took a breath in as her hand clenched his hand as she gasped instantly when he yanked her.

"Madeline!" The older woman exclaimed, strode toward the deepest red curtain and parted it wider as the sun shone through the tall window.

Madeline winced, her eyes shut tightly. She curled and yanked the blanket covering her head. She groaned, "What?"

"All the girls already got up in the morning. You should get up and get ready."

"It's Saturday, Miss Clavel."

"Yes, it is. Have you already forgotten something? We have a field trip on our way to the airport, Madeline. I will give you in ten minutes to get ready", Miss Clavel checked her wristwatch before strode out of this room. "I will be on the bus with Helene and the girls waiting for you." She shut the door.

In a moment, Madeline raised her head and pulled the blanket as she jumped off the bed. She made the bed neat and ran out of the room to enter the bathroom. She grabbed the toothbrush and pressed the paste from the toothpaste, brushed her teeth and strode back to the first room. She searched the drawer and wardrobe, then found some clothes. She changed her clothing into a long-sleeved dark pastel blue shirt and jeans with a pair of shoes. She picked the blue jacket in her arm and grabbed the luggage bag, ran back to the bathroom and finished her teeth. "Coming!" She shouted, ran straight to the exit as a woman wearing the dress with the apron stood outside in front of the door when she went out and looked at the woman, "Good morning, Helene."

"Morning, Madeline! Don't be late. Go in the bus", Helene locked the door. She went after Madeline to get into the bus with Miss Clavel and the rest of dozen girls. Miss Clavel counted every girl in the seat of the bus. Helene jumped into the driver's seat on the bus and started the ignition on.

"Wait! Genevieve!" Madeline exclaimed, she jumped out of the bus and called out for her dog. Her dog came up toward her and sat in front of her as she saw a teen boy come on the way to her. All the girls greeted him through the windows of the bus. She rummaged into every pocket on her pants, found the piece of paper from one of her pockets and handed it over to him.

"Here, I made the list to take care of my Genevieve, Pepito", she explained to him. "Please be watching over my dog."

Pepito folded the piece of paper and put it in the pocket of his pants. "I will, Madeline. Oh, don't forget to take some pictures, I really want to see this! Ah, don't forget-", he interrupted.

Madeline patted her friend's shoulder, "Don't worry, I'm getting you a gift from a field trip." She smiled and hugged him, "See you in a couple of weeks when we get back home." He hugged back. Before she left for the bus, turned to her dog and hugged her dog in her arms. "Pepito will watch you while I'm gone in two weeks. I will come back to you. Bye Genevieve." They gave goodbye to each other as she ran into the bus as the girls also greeted goodbye before the bus drove away. Madeline leaned the back of her head on the head of the bus passenger chair next to the teen girl, "Aggie, why didn't you wake me up?" She looked at her medium brown haired friend who read the teen magazine.
