"So Romeo, tell me, has it always been easy for you?" The reporter asked, showing off her pearly white teeth as she smiled.

"It was never easy for me. I struggled my way to the top, like literally." The audience let out a laugh as the reporter chuckled.

"Even considering the fact that your parents are renowned dancers themselves?" I clasped my hands together as I thought of my answer.

"Maybe that's where I struggled a bit. I wanted to meet everyone's expectations of me because they expected a lot from my parents as well. I wanted to do the same, but I lost myself in the process. I am not my parents, I'm their son. I wanted an identity of my own, so I made one."

"You said you 'lost yourself in the process'. How does one come back from that? How were you reminded of who you truly were?" With that question, a familiar face popped into mind, and I couldn't help but smile. Looking down to my left hand, I played with the ring on my finger.

I look back to the reporter and said, "When you find the person who's worth it."
