To Be One (ENGLISH VERSION)

Author's Note

I don't know where to begin, writing has always been my flotation device, my escapism, and mostly my way to express anything. I never wrote a story in full English and even though it's been a long time, it feels like there is always a starting point for everything- coming back to where I began.

So just when it came to me, To Be One, my story in Wattpad, will be now available also in its English version.

The English version will be a new adventure since it's a new and fresh start, and there will be some LITTLE changes. To Be One started as a fan-fiction, and the character's names are based on real people living, specifically from the K-Pop group Wanna One, so I decided to do some minor changes to their names, (just a bit) but I still hope the bond that you build with the characters in the Tagalog version never change, as for me it will never be. Also, one thing and the most exciting thing in this re-writing process is that I'm not alone anymore- so elated to tell you that I'm going to write this together with my pals, companions, comrades, and forever will be; Maggie and Jade Bautista. They are one of the very first people I told about this and after that we just found ourselves, throwing these magnificent and blasting ideas that I never imagined the very first time, thinking of the universe we're creating and all the depths of it.

I've never done this before and being given the chance to retell the story in a new way as a 21- year-old living component is an opportunity that I will never take for granted.

These days surely will never be forgotten as what they put us through, but I learned to cling to the things I love and wanted to do- we all do and for me, it's writing. My love for words will never vanish and I will work harder and more passionately to bring out the best of this story with all of my ability.

Keep on being the one.
