Oliver walked out of the elevator looking devastated. He had tears in his eyes. Diggle and Felicity stood up and walked to him. "How did it go?" Asked Felicity, Oliver couldn't respond, he looked over at Diggle and Diggle knew there was something wrong. "What happened man?" He asked, Oliver looked down and then he rose his head to see Laurel and Thea walking to them. A tear fell down his cheek as he saw Laurel. "Did you find Mark?" As soon as she asked that Oliver felt like he was being stabbed, he knew he had to tell her, but how could he tell Laurel that he killed the man that made her happy after he broke her heart? "Prometheus tricked Mark" he started saying, "he taped his mouth and he put him in his suit" Laurel took a deep breath, "Prometheus knew I was there to kill him, and I couldn't have known, I couldn't" he tightened his lips. "What are you saying? Where is Mark?" Asked Laurel, "Prometheus planned every move" "Oliver where is Mark?" He shook his head, "I- I killed Mark" he said, Laurel's eyes widened up and filled with tears, she tightened her lips and looked down, everyone looked shocked. "I'm so sorry Laurel, I couldn't have known it was him, I am so sorry, I'm sorry" he kept saying hoping she'll understand. Diggle placed a hand in his shoulder. Thea hugged Laurel, "Prometheus was trying to show me that I ruin the life of everyone in my life, that the people that I care about either end up dead or suffer" added Oliver as he kept releasing tears, "and he is right" Diggle shook his head, "no Oliver" he said, "I think you should all get as far away from me as you possibly can" added Oliver, "no man, we are exactly where we are supposed to be" told him Diggle and hugged him.

Diggle saw Laurel sitting down in the couch with her hands on her head, clearly crying, he approached to her. "Laurel" he said, Laurel rose her head and looked at him, she wiped her tears away. "I want to talk" he added, Laurel nodded. He sat besides her and placed a hand on her back, "I'm sorry about Mark" Laurel looked away trying to ignore the thought of Mark. "I just hope you understand what happened, it wasn't Oliver's fault" Laurel took a deep breath, "listen Oliver, he pushes people away, that's what he does, and no one can stop him from doing that, but what you can do, is not letting him push you away, you fight for him, he does mistakes, terrible mistakes, but at the end he always does it to protect you" Laurel looked at Diggle confused, "what are you trying to say?" She asked, "that... you shouldn't give up on him yet, no matter what he does, no matter the reason, don't give up on him, if you do, it could be something you will live regretting" he replied then stood up and walked away.

Oliver walked into his office, he saw ADA Chase there, "Hello Chase is there anything I cam help you with?" Asked Oliver, Chase nodded. "DA Lance sent me to pick up something, she said you knew what it was, you know work stuff" he answered, Oliver frowned, "why didn't she come?" He asked, Chase shrugged, "I couldn't know" he replied, Oliver gave him the folder, "you can't loose this nor look at it" he said before he let go of the folder. Chase nodded and left. Oliver looked down, he knew that the fact that Laurel wouldn't come for a thing about work made him be sure she was mad at him. He sat down, it was all screwed up, he didn't want to loose her, he didn't want to let her go, but deep inside he wanted to, he wanted to keep her safe. He just hated everything right now.

Laurel laid in her bed thinking, she looked around her room, she saw all the pictures hanging in the wall, her pictures with Sara, with her father, with Oliver, with Tommy, all those pictures of when she had a perfect life, the happy moments. There was this one picture that caught her attention. In it she was smiling, her smile gigantically, the smile hiding no pain nor suffering, that happiness it represented, Oliver next to her, his blue eyes shinning and that remarkable smile. She felt a tear on her eye, she wanted with all her heart to go back to those moments, all she wanted was to be in his arms smiling, no worries and no pain, but it was impossible, she knew it was all gone. She had lost it all. As she thought of all those moments she fell asleep.
