Harley POV
It's been about a month since Mistah J has returned and I couldn't have been more surprised. After he first showed up, he didn't come back for another week and I thought he just left us again. But then he started showing up again and he has moved in with us. Of course he still goes out and does all his fighting with the bat and what not but it's almost like he's being more careful so he can come back to see Maddie. Madison is so happy to have him here but we still haven't told her that he's her father. And with her birthday being tomorrow, I think we should finally tell her.

Harley:(sitting on the bed) Hey Mistah J, I think it's time we tell Maddie.

Joker:(Walks in from the bathroom) YES!! I FINALLY HAVE A PARTNER IN CRIME!

Harley: No, that's not what I meant. And keep it down. She's sleeping. I mean we should tell her that you're her dad.

Joker:(joins Harley on the bed) Are you sure that's a good idea. What have you been telling her all these years whenever she asked about me.

Harley: Well I didn't want tell tell her that her father didn't want to be in her life so I just kept saying I'll tell you when your older.

Joker: (upset) Well that makes sense. How do you think she's gonna react.

Harley: Happy, mad, upset, I don't know. Let's just worry about this tomorrow. ( snuggles closer to him)

Joker:(wraps his arms around her) Ok goodnight.(turns off the light)

Harley: Goodnight.(smirks) I love you.

Joker: Don't push it Harls.

Harley:(whispers to herself) Worth a shot.

~Morning~(just to be clear it's
Saturday)

Madison POV
It's my birthday. It's my birthday. It's my birthday. I run into mommy and da- I mean Mr. jokers room and jump on the bed.

Madison: Wake up wake up wake Up

Harley:ok ok ( sits up)

Joker: ( sits up and grabs her and tickles her) And what makes you so happy on this fine morning?(stops tickling her)

Madison:(smiling) It's my birthday!!!

Harley:( smiles) Ok well why don't you go get ready for your big day and I'll go make you favorite birthday pancakes.

Madison:ok mommy (runs out of the room)

Joker:( getting dressed) Special birthday pancakes?

Harley:( picking out clothes to wear) On her birthday, I make Mickey Mouse pancakes with chocolate chips. Normally I just make regular pancakes because those take forever but her birthday is an exception.(goes into the bathroom to change)

Joker: Ok. (Smirks) You know you can just change in here. It's not anything I haven't seen before.

Harley:Nice try.

Joker:(whispers to himself) Worth a shot.

~Downstairs after breakfast bc I'm too lazy~

Joker POV
I'm so nervous about telling Maddie I'm her father. What if she hates me for not being there for her. Or for not telling her when I first got here. Oh well, here goes nothing.

Harley:(sitting on the couch) Ready?

Joker:(sitting next to her) Ready as I'll ever be.

Harley:(yells) Maddie, can you come here for a second?

Maddie:(yells from her room) Coming (runs out to them) Yes mommy?

Harley: Have a seat sweetheart.

Madison:(sits between them) Am i in trouble?

Harley: No honey. We just have something to tell you.

Madison: Are we not going to Hershey Park. We go there every year.

(For those of you who don't know, Hershey Park is an amusement park where I live.)

Harley: We are gonna go soon but first,(sighs) Maddie, you know how I said I would tell you about your daddy when you are older?

Madison: Yeah.

Harley: Well Maddie, (points to Joker) this is your daddy.
