they were filming their mv for their newest comeback when they heard a scream. minhyun glanced at the others then ran at lightening speed and in a few seconds he was back. jihoon asked, "what was that?" minhyun shrugged and replied, "it was baekhyun hyung's kitten, it was stuck in a tree." daniel piped up "doesn't he have his own powers?" jihoon shook his head, "no! remember he lost his orb? he doesn't have powers right now." three of them nodded simultaneously and went back to their mv making.
after finishing up their mv work, they were approached by a new trainee, she rushed towards them and said, "your manager is finding you!" seongwoo groaned, "another mission? again?" their manager already started scolding them then the minute he found them. "jihoon what are you wearing! minhyun why did you leave in the middle of the shoot!" they were about to protest but stopped and just listened to it. just when they thought their manager was finished, "and oh yeah, you have another mission, team exo was on a mission but baekhyun went missing, and the rest of exo is injured so we need you to go find him." minhyun looked at his manager confused, "what are you talking about? i just saw baekhyun hyung out-" his manager deadpanned said "i don't know okay, just go find him!" their manager walked away but muttered under his breath "i hate this job."
daehwi speaks up after a moment of silence, "okay daniel hyung work your magic so we can work ours!" daniel shook his head, "i can't put my finger on it, he's somewhere cold but it's far from here, very far." guanlin asked confused, "what do you mean? where could it be that you can't even find it?" jaehwan said, "ya, let's just do this the old fashioned way, the computer can track baekhyun's chip, and we'll just go from there." woojin mutters as they trudge towards the grand computer room, "why do they make us do this shit when they can do it themselves?" sungwoon nodded, "also isn't it weird that they can just track us everywhere we go?" jisung replied back, "that's because they don't want us going crazy and destroying the world!" jinyoung retorted back, "we're still humans and have feelings, we shouldn't be caged and technically be their slaves." their bickering went on and on until they found out where baekhyun was. all their jaws dropped except for jaehwan, "he's in the middle of an ocean!? how is he still alive?" minhyun tried to tell them about the incident earlier, but they kept bickering about how to rescue him. soon minhyun forgot about it and the plan was finalised.

sungwoon groaned, "I hope this goes the way we planned it." jinyoung playing with his lifejacket, "if it doesn't I can always just reset the whole day" they all looked at jinyoung in annoyance. daehwi yelled from his seat on the plane, peering out the window. "yo! look outside I see baekhyun hyung!" jihoon peered out the window, "wait! i see something near him." seongwoo replied, "it's probably just a sea creature." they all nodded except for jihoon. once they got above baekhyun, they all looked and nodded at each other, then as usual jisung did the countdown, "3..2..1.. go!" guanlin pushed the plane door open and woojin and seongwoo stepped out. the moment they jumped off, woojin created a beautiful metallic force field bubble that circled around them, most of them watched in awe, but jisung and jaehwan were already bored of it. they were floating down when jihoon yelled, "ITS A GIGANTIC OCTARK!" woojin and seongwoo looked up at the plane, not hearing what jihoon said, when suddenly a giant octopus like leg hit them, breaking the bubble and they fell into the ocean.
