Rydel's POV

"and Ross and Rocky came downstairs right when I kissed her..."

"Why did you kiss her??" Ellington asked confused of the whole situation.

I rolled my eyes. "Because he clearly has feeling for her." I stated.

"What!?!" Riker choked. "I d-don't"

I gave him a look. "Oh please! Every time you said Laura's name you turned red or coughed! Obvious much??"

He coughed. "No I-ok! so maybe I do! but-but we can't be a thing!!"

I crossed my arms. "and why not??"

He sighed and lowered his head. "Cause of Ross......"

I got up. "So! What about Ross!?! I mean you guys never stopped me from dating Ellington! Why should Ross be the one to hold you back??' I asked angrily.

He got up. "Rydel...it's not the same. You're a girl, clearly, and we love you and it's easier for you cause then you'll get over it and us men...takes a while to be the same and talk to each other like we used to...."

I felt offended. Boys think it's easy getting over this?!?!

I turned to Ellington and gave him a "is it true" look.

He slowly nodded.

I scoffed. "Wow! Guys, I appreciate the compliment!!"

Riker shook his head and put his hand on my shoulder. "Rydel, We didn't mean to offend you...it's just guys tend to take things more serious and you know...feel that hate that will never go away"

I nodded. "Yea I get it. But please don't let Ross get in between your happiness! You guys didn't....."

Riker nodded. "agreed. I'll call Laura tonight and settle this..."

I smiled. "Thanks and I'll talk to Ross for ya!"

"and I'll talk to Rocky for you Riker" Ellington said as he got next to Rydel smiling.

I nodded and smiled. "Thanks guys..It means a lot! Well better get ready to tell Laura the news.."

I smiled. "Ok see ya later big bro!"

"bye" I said and they exited my room.

Ugh...now what do I tell Laura???

"Ok. You got talk to Rocky downstairs and I'll go talk to Ross in his room. Got it??"

Ellington nodded. "Yes baby"

I shifted a giggle. "Stop...."

He smiled and hugged me by the waist. "C'mom...You like it!!"

I laughed. "I can't say I don't......"
