Ross's POV

"Please! Can we leave! If we leave now we're not gonna get caught!"

"No! Not yet, I need to see her. I want to hold her. I want to tell her I'm sorry for everything I did. I need her forgiveness." I said and turned to the fragile looking Rydel, "Rydel, if you're listening to me right now...I want to apologize. To apologize for everything I've done. I know you suffered through the most. It was my fault you went through it. No one's to blame but me. You love Ellington and I ruined that for you. I'm so so sorry. I now know that. You were meant to be with Ellington. I was jealous and stupid and I took it out on you. Everything I did now will never be forgiven, I understand, but please don't die. Wake up from a dream that's been there way too long. Please wake up. R5 needs you. I love you Rydel, you're my big sister. Always will be..."

"Ross! Let's go! I think I see-Riker..." Laura froze as she said Riker's name.

I got up and turned towards Laura. Riker. My brother. The one that caused this in the first place.

"Laura, Do you want to stay?"

Laura glanced out the door and back at me. "I don't know..."

I shook my head. "It's a yes or no question. Answer."

Laura gripped her bag. "I want to... stay"

I knew this would happen. She would lie to me. Make me feel that she loved me but never really had. She always loved Riker.

Fuckin' Riker...

"Ok. If that's what you want, I can't keep you any longer." I took a breath. "I w-wish you the best. Goodbye Laura."

Laura gave a small smile and took out her hand.

I shook it and gave a small smile back. "I'll see you around."

She nodded. "See ya..."

I gave a one last glance at Rydel. "We'll see each other again. This time, I'll have changed. For you."
