Ellington's P.O.V.

"What are you doing here" I asked once I put her down.

She laughed. "To see you silly"

She still remembers me!

"Oh you know how many times I've dreamt of this and now it finally came true" I said excitedly.

She laughed. "I bet. So who's you friend back there??"

"Oh he's-"

"Dez, Ellington's friend" Dez said introducing himself and glaring at me, but smiled at Rydel.

She looked confused, but put in a smile. "um....it's nice to meet you Dez"

"Likewise" Dez said back. "Won't you sit down"

"Sure" Rydel smiled and sat down. I sat down next to her.

"I see why Ellington's been missing you??" Dez winked at Rydel. Rydel blushed in return.

I glared at Dez. He shrugged.

"So are you hungry??" I asked changing the subject. As if right on cue her stomach growled.

I laughed. "I'll take that as a yes"

She blushed. "I came here to eat"

"I thought you came here to see me??" I smirked. So she added.

"I was. I asked people around town and no one responded so I came here to eat"

"Yea you shouldn't talk to people here, they're mean" I stated.

She nodded. "Next time I come here, I'll remember that"

"Ok" I said "I'll be back"

She nodded. "OK"

Rydel's P.O.V

"So......" I began.

"So you're the girl that made Ellington have restless nights and talk to his picture frame on the side of his drawer??" Dez eyed me.

I was confused. "I-I mean if he did then maybe it was me.......but I didn't know Ellington had restless sleeps" I turned to see Ellington, who was happy.

"He doesn't look like he needs sleep"

Dez laughed. "Oh ha you don't live with him. I know what happened to him ever since you left. I felt bad for him. I tried to get him to forget about you but it was no use.... you were stuck on him like glue"

I never knew I had a strong impact on him.......

"If I could go back and make the pain go away I would but I can't-"

"Then why don't you just date him! Make him feel missed, wanted!" Dez said.

I looked down. I can't date my best my best friend.....can't I???

"Well....Dez. I don't-"

"You will! Great! Tell him that!" Dez cheered.

My eyes widen cause well, Dez yelled it out and now people were starring even Ellington.

"Dez shut up!" I whispered loudly, smiling at the people starring.

"Sorry" He said sitting back down

"I'm not gonna date him, but I'm going to hang out with him" I said.

He nodded. "Good"

"Hey here's your breakfast" Ellington said sitting himself down next to me.

I smiled. "Thank you"

"So....what were you guys talking about?" He asked looking at Dez then at me.

I looked at Dez. He looked back and slightly shook his head, no.

"Um.....Nothing"

"You sure...." He asked

I nodded "Mhm...."

"OK" He said "Hey um....do you wanna...go the ice cream shop a few blocks away from here??"

I almost choked on my food. "What?"

He got worried. "Rydel, Yea...like a d-i mean to catch up"

I looked at Dez. He nodded. "OK yea sure I'd like that"

He smiled. "Great."
