according to legend, she was the only one of three sisters who truly cared for her father, king lear, even after he banished her from his kingdom because she refused to flatter him like her two other wicked sisters had, both of whom just wanted the power he had. when king lear lost his wealth and royalty by his other two daughters' hands, he begged for help of cordelia, who consented for she loved her father nonetheless. however, she was captured and excueted by her nephews, the sons of the two wicked sisters, later on in the tale, after leading an army to reclaim her father's throne, which succeeded.

cordelia: (noun): meaning stupid, ugly, worthless, idiotic, clumsy, lost, wicked, broken or commonly known to be a poison child. other translations include piece of useless shit and a girl who has no love to speak of. name arisen from the words self-destructive and lost.
according to legend, she wasn't supposed to be born into this world, a mistake made that just could not be erased. she grew up with enough spatial distance from other people since she was considered to be poisonous and problematic. everywhere she went, bad things happened, and she was to blame. so, she caved into herself, keeping all the suffering and pain she caused inside of her, so that instead of the world being hurt, it was her, her insides rotting from it all. she also learned to stay away from mirrors, as she was a girl no one could love, not even herself, and she didn't want to see the face that made people cower with fear.
