I didn’t know what I was getting into quite frankly. To be honest, I didn’t trust Nathan yet, and all he said was take this passageway. I reached to turn the doorknob and here I am , in my basement . Nathan also said that if I needed a safe place that I can just take the passage way to the spy kid zone.
“Emily, where are you?” yelled my mom.
“Down here,” I answered after I quietly and quickly shut the secret door.
She ran down, relieved that I am ok.
“Come over here we need to talk.”
“Yes mam.”
She opened the door into a new secret room, and started to gently push me in. She didn’t know, but I knew, she isn’t my mom. Also, this wasn’t here yesterday.
“Mom, wait, I am going to go grab some food from upstairs.
“Ok, I will be waiting right here for you.”
