Marceline's P.O.V

I was too tired to actually move and my eyes felt rusted shut. "Marcy!!! Marcy!" I heard Finn calling.
"Ugh!" I groaned.
"Marceline!" Jake yelled as they neared my house. I forced myself out of bed and threw on some shorts.
I flung the door open, "What do you guys want It's like 4 in the morning!?" I was extremely tired because the day before I was up all night making more songs from my diary.
"Um... Marcy? It's like 3 in the afternoon," Finn said a little confused.
"Wha?" I guess I lost track of time. Oh well.
"Yeah girl you betta get those buns outta bed!" Jake said.
"Fiiine," I moaned. "Let me just get ready. You guys just wait here for a sec." I left them on my orangy red couch and went into my room to change. I put on my grey tank top some skinny jeans and my long brown boots. I threw my hair in a messy bun because I really didn't feel like dealing with it, and threw on a baseball cap.
"Alright guys we can g--" I stopped mid sentence to see Finn and Jake frozen in place. Finn looked like he was trying to fight Jake, who now took the form of a dragon, with his scarlet sword. They'd cut up my pillows and and knocked down my lamp. "What are you guys doing?!"
"Um we're sorry Marcy we didn't mean t--" Finn started.
"Yeah we're real sorry Marceline!" Jake cut in.
"I can't believe you guys!" I yelled. "Why would you guys play Jake the Dragon without me!?" I was a little bit hurt *fake sniffles*. The look on their face was priceless.
"Ohhh O.K. sorry Marce," Finn apologized.
"Come on you guys lets get going." I grabbed my umbrella, to shield me from the sun of course, and headed out. "What are we gonna do anyway?" As soon as we exited the cave I saw I really didn't need my umbrella.
"Whoa there's some funky stuff goin' on over there." Jake said pointing to the candy kingdom.
There was this enormous, ominous, black cloud, vortex thing hovering over the Candy Castle. Finn looked up wide-eyed and obviously interested. “Oh my glob! What is that thing?”
“I don’t know but I think I just found something to do!” I started feeling excited and the adrenaline started pumping through my veins. I’m always up for a good adventure! “Hey guys… WHAT TIME IS IT??”
“ADVEN—“
“No man I don’t have a good feeling about this,” Jake butt in.
“Come on Jake lighten up!”
“Yeah Jake!” Finn backed me up.
“I don’t know…” he still sounded uneasy and unsure.
I started feeling irritated. I really wanted to see what that cloud junk was about, but what I really wanted was a reason to see Bonnibel. We don’t really see each other too often. When first we broke up, ages ago, sometimes she’d call me up when she felt lonely. It’d seem like old times again. Then I’d snap out of that dream once she reminded me for the bazillionth time that we were not together anymore and were just friends.
It hurts more than anything to be friends with some one you love, but know you could never have. Eventually the calls came less and less, and I slowly realized that she didn’t need me anymore. Those people who say they’re great friends with their exes and that it’s not weird at all are LYING. It’s so painful. Seeing her go out with that Braco guy was like a knife being stabbed into my chest over and over again. Why was she even with him? She doesn’t even like… UGH! Probably tryna keep up her image as the perfect little princess she wants everyone to think she is! Just thinking about it makes me so… so … Gahhhh!
“Lighten up or I’ll lighten you up by draining all the red out of your body!” I hissed at Jake. I was not in the mood. We were going to that castle whether he liked it or not!
Jake trembled and shouted, “ Off to the Candy Kingdom!” He stretched his legs a little bit further away from us, particularly me, and got a few yards away. I didn’t mean to be so harsh, but I just had a lot of anger pent up. Finn sprinted to catch up with his brother. With my bat ears I heard them in the distance.
“What’s up with Marceline?” Jake asked in a hushed tone.
“I don’t know bro, but I think we shouldn’t really mess with her too much today.”

We arrived at the Candy Castle and the closer we got to the door the darker it seemed to get. Darkness loomed overhead making the once vibrant kingdom look dark and dreary.There were no candy people to be seen. They must have gone inside to hide away from wht they thought was a storm. Or they exploded. We ran up the stairs into Bonnibel's lab. And as always she was there.
"P.B. what the flip is goin' on here?" Finn asked.
"O hey Finn! Jake..." she paused when she saw me and hesitated to even acknowledge me, "Marceline."
"Hey P. Bubbs," I lowly mumbled under my breath.
"What are you doing?" Jake questioned.
"Oh I'm just trying figure out how to create precise replicates from Ice King's story that meet the exact idiosyncrasy of his delusional dream fabrications," she nonchalantly replied.
We all sat there with a puzzled look on our faces. Even though I couldn't understand her most of teh time I always found it kinda sexy when she talked nerdy to me.
"Huh?" We all said.
She let out a deep sigh, "I'm trying to find a way to make the people from Ice King's story come to life with the exact way he wrote them."
"Ohhhhh!" we all replied in unison. I was actually kinda excited to hear that cuz' after all I did contribute to the making of Marshall Lee. I wondered if the guys knew that they were sort of part of the story.
"But what's with the cloud?" I asked still curious about what was going on.
"What cloud?" she must've been so consumed with her experimentation, that she didn't even notice the giant scary looking cloud above the kingdom. "Oh no not again!"

O.K. I know this is kinda short and crappy for the long wait and I'm sorry, but, It's building up! I also I know I said saturday but the place I stayed had no wifi :( i was MISERABLE!! I'm gonna try to update every other saturday, but please don't kill me if I don't though :3. Well comment below anything you wanna say! Cyall.
